Prostate cancer. Update Feb Second March 2021 I had finally decided I'd put off medical checkups long enough. So, I started appointments in the beginning of March. My PSA in March, then again in April. So, I had a prostate biopsy on Thu. 4/29. were samples taken, plus more sticks (lidocaine) more than 20 jabs in total. Some of the fallout from is, blood in urine up 3 wks, and blood in semen up 6 wks. The bloody urine finally stopped earlier this week (I hope), and since today is 2 wks since the procedure, time rub one out. After a couple of weeks of on and off bloody urine, I hoping streaks, an initial squirt of bloody . Ohhh no, it completely brown-red! This really sucks, plus my results are still being held hostage on Scripps' computers! 5/26 I meet with Scripps docs today to hear their recommendations my prostate. hoping more of their systems are up and they can give my records because I go UCSD another opinion. Good news! Docs say a good candidate radiation. I feel confident with the docs I met. are a few steps in preparation, but should be worth it in the end. Iirc, first, an MRI see where and how much cancers ; next, insert several markers into the gland and inject gel between and the rectum. Yeah, ouch!!; Let things settle a few weeks, then start nuking! 5 40 sessions, I forget. They me with alotta info. Lol 6/4 Cancer treatment process starts 7//2021 I'll markers inserted into the prost and protective gel injected. Then, a few weeks let things settle down before beginning radiation sessions. 6/19 My looks back normal today. 6/20 My cum looks good again. And, volume seems to be coming back I getting concerned... 6/25 Good again 7- Today is prep day. I'll markers inserted into my prostate and barrier gel injected. Yeah, I'll feel a pinch and 's gonna sting... Needles<b> straight </font></b>through the taint & ultrasound probe the butt. Yup, hurt(s). The doc made 2 injections into my prost so not sure if I'll bloody again. I need soon 7-22 Damn. Bloody again. After o oonly 4-6 sticks... 7-24 Yup, still bloody. 7-27 Today is radiation simulation day. are 3 appointments, 1st is at 00, last 00. I think getting the isotopes, so 'll be an IV,,, ugh. But, that should be the jab today. I guess they'll get a good picture of the cancer and set up a program to zap . My primary doc referred his mom the guy 's taking care of . He had good things say about the dude. She's cancer free and healthy now  They gave me 3 tats, wanna see?  Radiation begins Aug eleventh 7-30 My is back normal this morning... Hungry?? hehe Aug 4 Hospital called today to schedule my radiation sessions. I'll go once a day, Aug eleventh to thirteenth, an d sixteenth to seventeenth Aug eleventh Had my first radiation treatment today. I didn't feel a thing. Unfortunately, I had some , and they needed to get it . So, that caused a delay while they jammed a tube my butt, then repositioned . The guy jamming the tube NOT gentle... Aug twelfth Two down, go. This session uneventful. I noticed the door the room is about feet thick! Aug thirteenth Session 3 is in the books. moved in the way during the procedure, so, I got tubed again... This guy way more gentle than the last. I'd be willing bet he has more experience in this area UPDATE: NOT radioactive after . (I guess they're cooking those cancer cells, ala microwave) Aug sixteenth Had my fourth of five treatments today. Uneventful far that goes, but I met the doc and found my prostate will be nonfunctional at the end... No mention of this at the initial consultation. Aug seventeenth Damn, still trying come terms with the fact, that my prostate won't produce after radiation. I mean, has time for a non-ejaculating dude?! I know,,, the cancer needed be killed, but I wasn't told of the after effects til yesterday. I guess was a lose, lose deal between this an surgery. No silver bullet for this one. Well, the last treatment went without a hitch. My once, big juicy prostate (about half a lemon) is now about half the size of a golf ball according my urologist. I I really really hope they didn't damage my boner nerve(s)!! They run right against the prostate.I Aug twentieth Doc emailed and said no nerves were damaged!! Things haven't settled down yet, been feeling discomfort off and on. Aug twenty-second I decided give things a test. I had been using the shower wand since Wed and getting no reaction - felt great, but nada. I kept at and managed enough of a stiffy rub one out. I actually got a ouput, an eighth or quarter teaspoon , and the orgasm was intense but uncomfortable. Too soon I guess. I expect my output to decrease over time. I just hope my dick recovers! Time will tell. Aug twenty-four I was watching a cam show, and low and behold, I sprung a chub! was growing nicely, but when I realized ,,, poof. Aug twenty-ninth Rubbed one out today. About the as last week, enough of a hard on get done. The orgasm was stronger today, and more productive. Half to a teaspoon? was sticky though. Also, uncomfortable, but less than last wee Sep One I got MORE cum today, and normal consistency with almost no discomfort... I'm beginning to wonder about the Doc's , LOL. I meet with him on the ninth. Sep Ninth Met with my oncologist this morning. He really wanted hear how I was peeing. Everything in that zipcode was with radiation, and my flow has been restricted. He prescribed a Rx help, and should be back normal in a month or so. I was wondering about my semen production, and said, hey, I'm still producing (I thought it was supposed stop)... He said, "Good, keep producing!" Well, all right doc! He said it will diminish in 18-24 months, though. It def already has. So, I'll follow- in 3 months, have another PSA see where that is (better be lower!!) Sep Twelfth Well, I'm not sure where I'm at with all this, now  My lil guy let me down Sunday, even with Viagra! To her credit, she kept at it til I came (Bless you!!)More time and testing are in order... Sep Seventeenth Emailed the doc about my experience with viagra on the twelfth. I haven't heard back yet, but decided to further into the pee Rx (alfuzosin) I've been taking since the radiation last month. Two of less common side effects are: loss in ability, desire, drive, or performance; inability to or keep an erection. Yay? LOL Nov four I went for my first psa test since the procedure. I hope the 's lower, but the docs said expect fluctuations. Nov six Got my result today, and was lower! Hoping this trend continues!Nov thirteen Welp, the boner pills (viagra, cialis) haven't worked for me. Probly cost me a fwb  My dick doc prescribed levitra (I was expecting injections). So, let's give it a try! Nov nineteen My friend and I gave levitra a try, and it worked fairly well, I was hoping for a bit more... Dec sixteenth,.twenty-third Well, levitra is hit and miss. Bummed, frustrated, and downright pissed! I emailed my dic doc, yesterday, the 22nd. Let's see what he comes up with...I Welll, he said I've all the pills and wants me to come in and go over options... Mid March! Feb second My PSA result came in, and it's down again! 2.28 from 3.78  |
