Today's My Birthday!

In fantasy, I should be feeling like the God-Emperor of Mankind! But in reality, it's more like solitary confinement. It's honestly sad, where work is more important than family and half the day is spent sleeping like any other normal day. The fun and games don't get on because I don't have those kinds of friends, plus other complications around the house.

At least I have these couple of cute plush dolls to help keep me sane. They're in the likeness of a few different cartoon characters I adore...including one or two from my own franchises (namely Violet and Scarlet of Short Bus obscurity).

Yesterday, I was nudged to watch this cult classic of a TV show called "The Critic", and I relate a lot to the main character Jay Sherman. The story is so sad and so cynical, and yet, with everything I've been through over the past decade, that's exactly what made it hit home for me. It's aged well in that respect, like a fine wine.

So yeah, why am I writing HERE? Why keep trying to shout in a vacuum? Because the whole point is in the hopes that maybe some cute lady would overhear, want to give a hug or a rub (or maybe even let me play with her girl-parts), and that'd cheer me up. Though as the aforementioned cynicism implies, hard-won life experience has taught me, "ALWAYS Bet on Disappointment!"

Not exactly a "happy birthday" with the fun and games I was hoping for - unless I were to go completely mad and pretend to run a tabletop RPG with my plush dolls as the players (my GOD, what manly-man does what's not too far from the mark of an ACTUAL TEA PARTY like the little girls do). President Coronavirus has had a hand in this, though it did not single-handedly inflict my condition of eternal loneliness. I had similar problems even BEFORE the pandemic, it's just been amplified over the course of the past year when I wasn't enjoying the downtime while trying to not be scared stiff over getting sick.

Point is, come show me some love for my birthday. (Ideally let me give you some spice with that sugar; I do fancy myself a rough lover!)
