 If you pay then send a message. That almost always works. What gets me is the users who keep paying knowing the problems then come to the blogs to whine about it. STOP paying. So simple.

If only animals had the ability to know when to keep away from us humans they would be better off.

 The person may have logged off ages ago.. the site keeps you logged in for sometime after you've actually logged off... it was probably just pure chance that you messaged,,, and then she went off line...

 wow, I never knew there was such a thing as an FriendFinder-x troll, I learned something new today.

The site does show ppl online after they have logged off... a common point made in the blogs.. I'm not sure how long for, and yes, it does sometimes show ppl online when they're shopping in the supermarket, and not logged on
