Rainy Day Sunshine

I had an appointment with my shrink of eleven years at the Hyannis VA clinic earlier this morning, driving the 7 miles in a pouring rain, not feeling very happy with the way things were working out so far this morning.

Joe, the long-term clerk knew everybody's , as well as most of the essential information about them and profusely greeted patients when they entered the clinic, retired with the onset of covid. His sunny is sorely missed!

My friend got back from South America not feeling well at all, which is why she didn't respond my messages or me. She contacted me halfway through my visit with my doctor, and I saw it just before leaving the clinic in the sporadic drizzle. It made my day!

She's been reinstated, and I feel like a total asshole for doubting her, not to mention jumping to conclusions with limited data to back them up!!!!

Sunflower, good morning!

That's the beginning of an old Glen Campbell song I half a dozen times daily.

D and I can't talk on the phone for some reason. When I he can hear me, but I don't hear HIM! A visit the local Verizon store is in order after lunch, I think, so they can identify, then correct, the problem. I NEED to be able to hear his voice and for him to hear MINE!

We need a small pallet to put our new fire pit on, anyway, and those are often alongside White's Path on the way to said establishment. I put the rear seats on Betsy Blue down so she can carry a fair amount of bulky cargo internally, and her hatchback door lifts right up. Easy to load.

I bought a bike carrier about a year back, and will try to install it today on her, if at all possible.

That way I can take Spooky to the trailhead this weekend without popping the rear wheel off and laying her down in BB's interior. . . .

For some reason I get a LOT of interest from guys looking for WOMEN! What GIVES?

Always thought of myself as a man's Man, personally.

Oh, well, life goes on.
