Making the most óut of your money

I am a X-member, I tried a membership and spent a lot of time on here trying to have fun. I did manage to meet a couple guy's during the membership so I will consider myself lucky.
My point is that when a new user is on and you know they are new, why do other members and the site mess with them by playing with the messages?
I'm just saying that we could slow down for a minute, think before we speak and consider other's
