 It didn't use to be this bad. Just a several years ago, there were more real people. But FriendFinder-x is chucking fake accounts, cam models, services for money, and definitely scammees... it isn't worth it. But ya gotta hand it to FriendFinder-x: it sells the idea that you'll get laid but promotes much of the opposite.

 It helps to start out with low expectations. Vanilla dating sites are much better for getting laid, in my experience. I'm just here for the blogs, at this point anyway.
