Bleak is the early morning sky,

so<b> dark </font></b>and foreboding the clouds roll slowly in,

blotting out the cheery sun,

thunder rolls and lightning crashes,

filling the land with its trumpet call of doom,

a harsh chill wind sweeps 'cross the dreary land,

grasping all in its cold claws,

in great grey sheets it steadily begins to fall,

soaking everything in its dreadful path,

when fall's first storm strolls 'cross the land.
