Death's dark foreboding shadow wraps

itself round my rapidly beating heart.

Haunting nightmares of destruction devilishly

swirl through my shaken mind.

Terrible bonfires of molten fear flare within

the fireplace of my frightened soul.

Smoky tendrils of uncertainty and the powerful

hands of dark despair grip me as I watch

my pitiful life pass before my eyes.
