It's All Bullshit

I keep having people asking what I'm here for, my , my marital status, for a picture, and just about anything else that's already on my profile.

Annoying because me means that while they may have read my profile didn't mean enough them for the basic information sink in. . . . . .

Frustrating as hell, too.

Big Blue, my beloved blue crayfish, died in his five gallon aquarium of unknown causes. probably happened a day of more ago, but because he tended hide among the artificial plants , I didn't go looking for him until this morning. Dead. Flushed. Buried at sea. . . .

Part of the bitch of keeping aquariums is that critters DIE. Sometimes you know why, and sometimes they seem just vanish without a trace.

I try not get attached a fish or a aquatic critter, but sometimes you run across one with such striking personality that my heart goes out them. Big Blue was one of those, and I'm bummed a bit because of his demise.

That leaves two aquariums without scavengers. A trip the local pet shop would seem be in order, probably tomorrow or Saturday.

Sometimes I wonder what all the fuss is about, since we're all going to die eventually, and our lives forgotten by the masses. . . . . .

Joy accepted my friend request. I found her. Yay, me!

Doug moved today. In nine days I visit him at his new apartment, planning to spend the night, circumstances permitting. This is the first and time in my life I have been truly in love with another man, and I'm a bit anxious about our first real life encounter.

MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bambi is at choir practice for another hour or so. She gets something from that stupid group of blatant -grubbers, that I don't think I'll EVER understand. each their own, I suppose.

We got word from our mechanic a few weeks ago that Betsy Blue, our 2008 Scion we've had seven or eight years now, 'isn't long for this world' from our mechanic, because of bad rust on the body undercarriage area. His estimate was a year or two if we her, which we WILL, since she was slated be a local-use vehicle (not off cape) about a year ago. BB is my work car, and our heavy-hauler since I folded her rear seats down, opening a decent amount of cargo space, so when we replace her I'm thinking pick-up truck.

Cape and Islands Mitsubishi is probably going sell us a third vehicle, since they seem have a knack for financing us. NOT an easy thing do.

Turbo, our cat, had been sitting on top of my 60 gallon aquarium since I got it three weeks ago or thereabouts and I got used to seeing him sitting there, guarding the front door and watching the fish (, strangely enough, don't seem afraid of him!), but recently he's taken hiding again somewhere amidst the living room clutter.

Notional cat.

sure do seem be a LOT of fake profiles here! I enjoy playing with them, then cutting them off at the knees when they go through the old spiel a hundred other scammers have tried on me. They're getting sneaky, but eventually they show their true colors, without fail!

One demanded that I close this account so I could focus entirely on her, although that was the first conversation we'd had, and blocked me on when I refused do so.

Unfortunately that's very typical of my experience here, and was a major factor in my departure before............

No more.

Life goes on.
