Echoes From The Hole

I was up all night due a burning, crawling sensation of the skin on my upper left thigh making too painful for much sleep. I have no idea what this could be but will finally ask Suzanne, my VA caregiver in Hyannis, about during our appointment this next Tuesday after wor . . .

So I took the day off work I don't think I'm capable of safely driving my , plus I had an overpowering foreboding about the work day. . .I've learned the hard way to TRUST my gut, especially in situations like this.

I've been back a couple of days now and am really enjoying here again, although I have been targeted numerous times by scammers using the tired old spiel try separating me from my personal information/. Sometimes I like along and then cut them off at the knees when I get tired of the game.

Beautiful day here on this Fantastic Friday, but 's definitely Fall here on Cape Cod, as evidenced by the chill outside. One of my favorite seasons here, actually.

All five of my aquariums are doing well today, but it seems I'm always thinking of new gear and fish or other critters that I absolutely MUST have, even if IS a bit tight at the moment!

Those and my classic Schwinn are my main obsessions these days.

All kinds of housework needs doing before next month and Bambi's knee surgery brings visitors into our home for the first time in many moons, but my motivation to buckle down and DO it is just about null for some reason.

I don't relish the prospect of doing it alone, but if Bambi helps, she's going to be telling me how to do everything, and that will drive me nuts, so perhaps 's no alternative. I don't know.

Hell, I don't know ANYTHING; ask anybody knows me. Both of them.

Doug apparently got moved alright and seems be enjoying his new apartment a great deal. I will definitely need his new address before driving over finally meet him come next Saturday morning, and must remember ask for when we exchange texts later on. . . . .

Joy found this blog.

"Weebils" is the nickname I got when serving with an artillery unit on Fort Hood, Texas, in the early 80s as a member of the Individual Ready Reserve because of the way I walk, and the fact that I don't let ANYTHING keep me down very long.

"Weebils wobble, but they don't fall down!". Remember?

Still in my grubbies and it's almost ten in the morning. Not sure if I'll actually go anywhere before this evening, so perhaps won't be a need for me dress in actual CLOTHES.

Need more caffeine and something substantial in my stomach, but am not sure what I that I feel capable of/inclined to actually make myself.

Life goes on.. . . ...
