I came across this today and it was so very apropos. One of our HS classmates passed away the day after Christmas. One of the girls lost both her<b> parents </font></b>on Christmas day. Another classmate had to put down their pet on Christmas eve. So this sort of rang home to me.

 My photographer friend who specializes in pet photography, just sent me an email saying her beautiful black lab passed yesterday. My heart is kinda breaking for her right now.
