Thursday, Again

I only had the potential for working half a day, so I took it off and slept in for one of the very few times lately.

Bambi's laundry is in the dryer now, I've started cleaning the 10 & 20 gallon aquariums upstairs, and a few other things have been accomplished so far this morning.

Not bad for a procrastinator?

I'm thinking of getting Betsy inspected a week from tomorrow, my next payday, just in case there are any additional charges for being so late.

Maybe sooner. It depends on my motivation, or lack of same.

The anticipated snowfall last night didn't amount to much, and was totally gone when I checked this morning. No big deal. None in the forecast for the next ten days or so, either, thankfully.

Turbo has a love for the basement. He rushes down with me every time I go there to do laundry or whatever, stays as long as he can, for some obscure reason. Maybe there are mice down there which he loves to catch; we don't know for sure.

We've had him several years now; the longest I've had any animal in my life! Good cat, great friend also. Lucky to have him!

No food, just two cups of strong tea, since midnight. Not a good way to treat myself, but sometimes I just don't wanna chowing down on anything until late in the morning, or early in the afternoon. What can I say?

The fish in Kansas are slowly getting used to that new filter, and the increased water circulation. I smile each time I look over there at it.

I've pretty much decided to just clean up the upstairs aquariums, since all the residents seem perfectly happy with the current situation. STILL tons of work ahead of me in the near future, but nowhere nearly as much as taking down the two fives would entail.

So much to DO. . . . .and I KNOW most of it's on MY shoulders, because for one reason or the other Bambi's not going to help out much, if at all. It makes me mad sometimes, but I understand she simply CAN'T do very much yet, and won't be able to for a while.

Chi.. . . . . . . .

I feel like I could sleep for a YEAR already!!!!!

Not a fan of the holidays, and to the greatest extent possible, I don't celebrate XMas for my own reasons. Charlie Brown, The Grinch, and Ebeneezer Scrooge had the right idea in the first place, in MY estimation!
