poem I wrote about Freedom

When you think of freedom what comes mind?
How many forms are you able find?
Freedom is precious and worth any cost
largely taken for granted until is lost.
The freedom we come feel we deserve
is the freedom our ancestors died to preserve.

If we had no freedom then how would we cope?
Would we just carry on even though 's no hope?
I'd like think freedom is a god given right
but 's still too many places where freedom's still a fight.
I see them on the news and makes me so sad
deny basic freedom those in power must be mad.

Freedom is progress and machines that save time
's going at your own pace not following any line.
Theres freedom in choices and choices galore
but even with all this still we want more.
Freedom's a feeling we keep deep inside
just threatened and comes out with pride.

Freedom is paramount and vital for success
but freedom must be for all and it's pursuit relentless.
I'm free talk and act as I choose
I'm free be myself with nothing lose.
How often does freedom cross your mind on an average day?
Sadly if you are like me you will be<b> ashamed </font></b>say.
