Do people commonly chat through IM here set up meetings/ even if they are still going wait months out, or do people generally only want talk others if they are open meeting quickly?
I've considered messaging a few different people but am taking my time in planning meetings, and since I can't see profiles I want avoid offending anyone who might ask on their profile not be contacted directly... Damn pandemic.

And I'm curious about the instant Message culture these days; is it considered rude to message someone without any prior communication? Is that the preferred way to identify an interest?
