Food for thought
An interesting quote came up during a BR (see picture below). And yes, I am humble bragging (or like the cool say, "low key flexing") that I got 1st place.

In fact, very similar themes have been popping up in my life as of late, like during conversations, podcasts, books I'm reading (trashy romance novels, which have been my guilty pleasure as of late. Don't judge me, Judge Judy!), etc.

The bottom line is I think the universe is trying to tell me something.

I'll try and post more deep thoughts on this later. Until then, I'll chew on it.

 Admittedly, I think I was an odd mix for women and girls during my college years. I was very serious and goal-oriented in college. I wasn't broody or anything, just very focused. A friend once explained to me that I was the guy a girl took home to meet her parents. Two girls turned me down because I was "too smart" which trips me out to this day. In my senior year, I dated two women: one in her 30s and one in her 40s. Both broke it off quickly because I was too young. And yes, I did have the libido of a guy in his early 20s. 😂

 Lost in translation is a topic that comes up a lot in communication theory. Humans communication has to go through so many filters it's surprising we can successfully exchange meaning at all.

That's cool. I had a "pocket copy" of the Art of War in college. It was 4" by 2" and I carried it around for about a year. Yes, I was a nerd.

 It really is interesting when the universe is trying to tell you something. Although, the Art of War may not always translate into other arenas very well. Just saying.

It’s interesting that you brought up how things get lost in translation, especially when it comes to ancient texts and how words/sayings are used in a social context (that might be a fun post as well).

Here’s a fun fact, my first Art of War book was actually written in comic book form. I should go look for it and see it has that quote.

Yes, the universe does work in mysterious ways, but also has a way to say, “are you not getting the memo, dummy?” LOL
