 After work. I was going to do it last Friday but didn't get over to the shop on he corner. They don't have weekend hours so I'll go tonight.

I woke up feeling a bit oogy this morning.. Like I'm getting a cold or something? I kept waking up last night as well.. seemed like every hour or so. Last time was just before the alarm was to go off so I said the hell with it and got out of bed.

The fish and chips turned out okay last night. No good just okay. Not like you'd get at Long John's, or Arthur's though. I can cook just about anything, but with fish...yeah no. It always turns out tasting too fishy. I suppose because I have to bake it instead of deep frying it like they do at the shops. The tartar sauce wasn't all that good either. I had to make my own and the brand of mayo I had wasn't what I was used to buying. The store was out of Hellman's mayo ( couldn't get it re stocked ) and substituted with what they could get. Dukes mayo. It's okay I suppose? But it's not what I'm used to. I think we 'll have to get use to going without our favorite brands for a bit. Ah well.

I have no idea what's on tap for work today? But I'm going to be taking it easy if I can. Tomorrow I'm taking a half day off. I have a Doctor's appointment. I'm going to have to walk over there as my ride ( my daughter ) is in classes to become an emergency operator and doesn't get out in time to help me out with a ride over. Hopefully it'll be sunny and to too warm for my walk.

I'm off to shower now.

 It’s tough cooking with strange ingredients. And I’m always leery of trying new things. But, as of late, we are kinda forced into it.

 Instead of Baked Fish, try Broiling !! It's the only way I do Salmon or Tilapia !!! Trout, fresh caught, wrapped in foil and cooked on open campfire bed of embers 🤠
