Sunrise or sunset

I spend a couple of weeks in summer renting a cottage Lake Erie in Ohio. I am early ride my bike. Most of time I get see sunrise. Every nice day I do get see sunset. Even though ’s early, I do enjoy starting my day with sunrise. ’s either a nice bike ride follow or out in the kaya Great way start my day.

Wildlife in the Burbs

So I live in the SW suburbs of Cleveland. In the back yard we have several types of animals cutting through the yard to head deeper into the woods. We have the following types of animals here including:
Chipmunks, two species of squirrels, rabbit, raccoon, opossum, deer, turkey, Fox, coyote, owl and a couple species hawks.
What type of animals are in your backyard?

Home projects

So working from home has provided me with an opportunity complete some of home projects that I would not normally get a chance do. What I have done over past 10 months :
Cut down a tree in front yard
Planted a new one
Put in anew garage door opener
Painted house trim
Painted 3 outside chairs
Replaced a few deck boards
Put in hanging deck lights
Added a laundry room tub/sink
Caulked master room shower
Caulked main bathroom tub
Added new cabinet fronts/doors
Put in a new microwave with my
Painted deck rail.
Put some shiplap in entry hallway from garage

So as a member , it looks like I can receive IM’s and emails. In order to respond to those I may have to upgrade. I have earned some points, so I will have to see what I can use those for. I appreciate all that have sent me IM’s and emails. Looking forward to maybe sending them back, when and if the system allows.

What ‘s Your Exercise Routine?

Since I am now working from home, staying in a normal routine easy. Living in Cleveland, Ohio area winters can be tough. I do walk dogs in neighborhood most days (8,000 10,000 steps).
My weight training pretty simple . 60 pounds, weights and doing about 4 different exercises for about 10 minutes about 4 or 5 times per week before my shower.
How are you staying in good physical condition?

Golfing in the spring.

So the golf league will start up in the spring. Debating on joining it this year. Last year it was canceled. I would be playing with the same team member and could socially distance, and being outdoors I would be okay with it. Golfing nowadays means no pulling of the flag out of the hole. I did golf a few times in 2020 with a friend and we have survived.
All of the golf courses are now set up to pay in a socially distanced manner and we do not have to go inside. So I feel this is a safe activity, as long as I continue to be safe ( mask up when around other people and sanitizer on the hands after finishing up, no touching of the face)

Skiing this winter, local

I live in Ohio and usually travel Western NY ski. It looks like this winter I will have stay in Ohio. Sounds like testing and quarantine prior going. Plus reservations will be needed. It sounds like the same if I wanted go Western Pa. Just looking drive this year. Hopefully, restrictions get better or I may just be skiing for a day here locally. Boston Mills/Brandywine.
If you a skier what are your plans? Are you lucky enough to live in a state with mountains? Just little bumps here.

Grocery shopping?

Trying to get an idea about how are you doing your grocery shopping today. Since I have a smaller family run grocery store nearby, I do most of my shopping there. It’s a smaller store, but there are also usually less people in the store. I still like to shop just about every other day as I like to limit my produce and get fresh vegetables and fruit in smaller amounts.
So my strategy for staying safe is to shop in a smaller grocery store, lower number of shoppers and in and out quickly.
Other alternatives I have heard about are: shopping in person early or late, grocery delivery, on line and grocery pick up.

I have been working from home for months now due to Covid19 being in the United States. Prior to that, I traveled for business. Still the same job, just doing it a different way. So I now talk to people via Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Webx. The rest of my job is pretty much the same. The major difference is that I do not travel.
What has changed with your job over the past months? Do you still have the same job? Do you have a job? What changes have occurred?
