It baffles me how there can be so many variations/definitions of this acronym. I see profiles that say NSA (No Strings Attached) followed by lists and lists of the strings that person or couple wants attached.
In my opinion, NSA sex is virtually identical to the "Free Love" of the 1960s. In other words, 'I like what I see and would like to have physical sex with you, I don't need your name or to know what you do for a living. I don't care if you're in a relationship or single, I'm only interested in the physical sex for what ever time we can spend.' I do agree though that requiring the person be drug and disease free and maybe vasectomy safe are prudent and shouldn't be considered strings.
For those that want friendship or long term commitments, modify your profile as these are not NSA hookups! If you base your interest level on if the person is attached or not, that's a string, you may as well ask for a financial statement while you're at it because you're not looking for NSA, you're wanting to judge and select on other than physical basis.
