So, I received an email last week from someone who claims to be a woman. I have my doubts about that, but anyway, it was and is very disturbing. I mean, really, we are in the land of anything goes out here... You can be anyone and anything you want to be and nobody knows the difference. One thing I have learned in my time on FriendFinder-x is that most people are very insincere and even less are genuine about who they are or what they are looking for. Please don't take offense if you are not one of these people... I said most, not all.
What was most disturbing to me is that when I went and looked at the profile of this email, I found a man there who had contacted me numerous times. A man I had seriously thought about the possibilities of what I am looking for with this adventure. This made my stomach turn! It also made me think about and realize how quickly std's can be spread through contact with people from this site.
As a woman who isn't attached, there have been some who have caught my attention, even ones I've never responded to. Sometimes ignoring my wants and needs or moods of fulfilling my guilty pleasures. God knows sex is only an email, text or phone call away. I can Honestly say that I am So Glad that I have been so cautious!
I'm sure I will be even more so now...
I've copied the email below for you to read and have included the profile info so you can see for yourself... WHO would include photo's on a profile with some std? WHO would include photo's copied from a website (and if you notice each photo is a different woman)..lol What is really disturbing though is the people who have left nice comments and are her friends... REALLY????

Just thought I'd share. I've been chuckling over this guy every time I see him on-line... He thinks he's got game! I finally gave him what he asked for today, when I decided to post this. It makes me wonder if he's ever read my profile even once in the last year that he's been contacting me. Pretty sure that he didn't. My profile is long, but it's pretty up front about what I'm looking for right from the beginning.
It IS kind of disturbing to know this guy is spreading his joy, and anything else he may have come in contact with, in at least 5 states... From the pics on his profile there have been some takers and from seeing those photo's... obviously, he's not too choosy! Has anyone else ran into people here that they know in real life??? Unfortunately ~ for the most part ~ I have had this luck! I have ran into 4 people that I already knew quite well, before we ran into each other on FriendFinder-x. 
Two neighbors. One who lives on the next block and I think of in the manner of a brother. I even used to be quite close with his mom. He now tries to hook up with me from time to time and I just can't get past the brother thing. Ya know???
The other neighbor, well... let's just say he was blocked as soon as I realized that he was checking out my profile! Can you say CREEPER!?!?! I know way too much about him, due to our daughters being good friends. I'm sure the day will come when I have to see him face to face again, knowing he's seen my lady parts...lol Right now, I'm more than happy to settle for a quick wave-n-go from my Jeep. Later, in some instances, is much better than sooner... and this is definitely one of those instances...lol
The very first person that I had any contact with from this site lived 15 miles north of my home town. We had emailed and text for a couple of weeks and decided to meet. The night of our meet came and I headed up his way. I had left early, but the roads were really icy and bad. I decided to call (for the very first time) and let him know that I was on my way, but running late due to the weather. Those roads weren't going to stop me! lol Anyhow, during our conversation, we realized who the other one was! We had actually dated 20 yrs ago!!! As a matter of fact, we had spent most of a summer together and knew some of the same people. It was a Great reunion! Catching up on everything and everyone over the years. Neither one of us had changed that much physically. I don't why we didn't recognize each other's photos? On the other hand, some things had changed a whole lot... lol I may have held on tight 20 yrs ago... if I knew it could've been like that!!! WOW!!! I haven't talked to him in quite awhile now. I'm just not into the swinging... But, I quickly realized what a VERY SMALL world this is
The last person, but certainly not least is actually a former co-worker of my ex-husband and a former neighbor. SUPER Great Guy! I saw he joined the site about 6-8 months ago. We finally emailed each other this week. He's still the same sweet guy and I can honestly say meeting him and having him as a friend is one of the very few good things that my ex brought to the table! My , who haven't seen him in 5 yrs or so, were even excited that I ran into him on this "dating" site...lol If that says anything about him. Yes, Craig... I am talking about you

The other day I was thinking about a situation that happened to me last winter. At the time, I was in shock, but soon found the humor in it. I thought I would share... I'm quite curious if this has happened to any of you? I'd love to hear your story!
To set this scenario up... Last December, the company I work for was hiring a management position for one of our sister companies. The power's that be decided to conduct the interviews at the location where I work. In my position I wear many hats. Closest to admin asst. I'd have to say. My desk is right by the door from outside and so is our general waiting area...
Thursday, we went through the first day of interviews without a hitch. I was kind of bummed about Friday, since it's casual day and I'm a jeans type of girl, but had to dress the hostess role for those being interviewed (potentials, as we call them).
I got in that Friday morning and got cozy beginning my day. Trudged through my morning counts and finished my first spreadsheet. It was either 8am or 8:30am the first potential was supposed to arrive. The interviewing manager hadn't arrived yet and I would have to try and entertain the potential somewhat. No big deal. I host all of the events that take place at our building and it is usually at the least 20 people or more. I've got this covered! I seem to have a gift for the gab and have no problem finding something to talk about with anyone regardless of the situation.
I tried to keep myself busy, without getting too deep into anything, anticipating both the interviewer and potential at anytime. I waited a bit, getting more impatient with each minute. It was a Friday with no and I had no intentions of staying late! So, I went ahead and dug my heels into my next spreadsheet.
Shortly afterward the potential showed up. I greeted him, sat him down in the general waiting area and we shared a few niceties. I left him to wait for his interview while I went back to my desk and got back to work, seeing as I was in the middle of my second spreadsheet and cookin' on it.
While I sat there the potential had come to my desk and asked to borrow a pen and piece of paper. I gladly obliged and went back to getting lost in my spreadsheet. A few minutes later he walked up to my desk again. Thanked me and handed me back my pen and the slip of paper I had given him. As he sat back down, I read the paper. It said "Hi JeepGurl! I am _________ from FriendFinder-x"
OMFG!!!! Was the first thought that crossed my mind. lol I looked at him and he was beaming. A huge grin from ear to ear. I smiled at him and said "HI", while I must have turned at least 5 shades of red!!!  I think I said something along the lines of "Really?" and "No Way" and he just kept saying "Yep". lol This man is someone whom I had actually shared a few emails and phone conversations with, but it never went anywhere. I soooooooooooo wanted to crawl under my desk, but there was nowhere for me to go... Talk about getting caught with your pants down!!! lol
We sat there quietly chatting (I work in an open office with 3 others) until the interviewing manager showed up. I chuckled to myself about that "FriendFinder-x meet" all day... and still do to this day! We talked on the phone on my lunch that day, of course. Both amazed that we had met so unexpectedly and also at the possibility that we may be working for the same company, both in positions that are very involved with each other.
We talked/text a few times over the next few weeks. He found a different position with a different company and we lost touch again. Nice guy! (You know who you are if you read this  ) We weren't really looking for the same thing though.
WOW!!! What a shocking way to meet someone from FriendFinder-x! What are the odd's in a town the size of GR and it's burbs? lol
I guess a picture doesn't lie! I have been debating removing my face pics ever since that happened, but nah... I heard through the grapevine that my photo's on FriendFinder-x displease my ex! So, YES , they are definitely staying! lol
