As I lay beneath the stars, I ponder
How does fate look at my life?
Have I done enough to warrant paradise,
Or doomed to a fate worse than death?
Philosophy and religion have no answers
They can only guess at what might be.
Science is of no comfort
Cold calculations intrinsic in its art
So I lay here and ponder
And let the darkness take me
Soon I will see.

The one who wishes to give herself to me
Heart and soul.
My desire
My craving
My angel
Seeing her there, open, trusting, helpless
But cherished,
Loved
Adored
Someday she will appear
And quench my burning within
So we may be one. Forever.
