The Delhi Rain

Sounds of thunder, drops all around
The air is heavy, the fragrance divine
I sense it is moist....I feel it is wet
Much like I was, even without the rain

The trees are swaying
Touched by the pearly drops
Aroused, excited and eager
Hoping the rain would never stop

It pours, and it pours some more
I gasp, I devour, I relish it even more
