Hello To My Faithful readers...
Happy Wed to You from your ever faithful A F F journalist. I hope your day is going great.
Now onto the reason for this wee blog post of mine. A few weeks ago I was talking with Andrew, our Founder/CEO of this site/company and he showed me some pages for the Top Fan game. I told him I thought ( and I still do ) that anything that helps members interact with one another, to spend more time on site and engaging with members, chatting, blogging, etc is always a good thing for the site and members alike. He explained to me it was going LIVE soon and I waited to see it...I expected some naysayers and hysteria induced comments from some who do not like anything this site does or try. I have witnessed this same thing over the women receiving free silver then gold to be a part of the Icebreaker programme. ( which I have never supported nor will I ) The affiliate's using member profiles. ( which I called in on it the day I spotted it to report to the dept's that we had a HUGE problem brewing and we needed to get in front of it. )
Ok, so I have seen a lot of posts, blogs, advice line threads going over and over this topic. I have also seen a lot of misinformation and the one HUGE thing Andrew wanted me to get across is this : YOU CAN OPT OUT OF THIS GAME AT ANY TIME YOU WISH. THERE IS NO OBLIGATION TO PLAY OR PARTICIPATE IN IT. The game was started to get members to interact with one another. For years now I have heard women complain that men refuse to read or view their profiles or do not read it right..then I've heard members who are standard complain that they can not do anything on the site..This game was seen as a way to bridge the gap..To find a way to use the points to get members interacting more with the site. Not every member is a gold member or VIP. Perhaps if some men and women enjoy this game ( and I have seen a lot, A LOT of members are involved with the game. ) and if they are standard they might purchase memberships which helps this company stay afloat. Perhaps if the men and women are playing and enjoying the game they are interacting more with the site. Maybe we can look forward to more, new and interesting bloggers, chat room visitors and advice line threads...Isn't that something we should look forward too and not be against ?
Yes, we have many glitches being worked on. Yes, Site Support sees and reads all the messages and tries to get these things fixed quickly. As my Dear friend JN said, " This will take time to fix ." Andrew just came back full time in Dec. 2013..we are sorting through all sorts of issues, fakes, glitches, etc..you name it and it is being worked on. I am still working on getting colours/bling back on profiles. No one is forgetting to fix things...This game was just something fun created by the site to get members to interact more and have fun..for ALL not just the Gold members..for ALL.

Imagine my surprise when I checked my Yahoo news links and saw this fab little review by some experts putting Our site back in the top # 10. One day soon, I hope to see us at Number # 1 where we belong. All the changes going on around here and all the forward momentum has carried us right back to the list of Best Online Dating sites. In fact this site has more visitors then any other site.
I own a group page for this site over at FB and I shared the link there too. I did not care for the one word used to describe Our site " Hookup. Hello all,
Happy Wed to you all.Remember back a few years when members could decorate their profiles ? I was very impressed with the artistic way the members made their profiles "pop" and stand out. I know for quite sometime now members have been asking if they can have their colours and blings put back on their profile page. I am trying to share/show some examples of the creativity of the members to management so if any of you took a screen shot of your own profile before all the bling vanished could you share it with me or share it here..whatever is the easiest for you.

Happy Holidays and Happy New Year 2014 to One and all  I know that 2013 has been a very up and down year for most of Us and the world. Let me be the first to predict that 2014 will be a MUCH better year for all of Us.
My wish for the site, employees and members alike came true when Andrew came back this year to do what he could to fix what is broken and give Light and joy back to the site we love. Will it take time ? Oh yes..Anything worth doing is worth doing well and that takes time. If we all pull together and give everyone on site some breathing room we will get through this in One Happy Piece. Things are changing and getting better every single day.
We are all on this road together. Thank you to all my faithful readers and friends who offered wise and wonderful advice that I could pass along to Andrew and the team. Hello My Dear Readers & Fellow Members,
Ok Everyone, deep breath now...EVERYTHING is going to be OK. The news media is jumping onto the story because "Penthouse" is a SEX brand name..it will bring in viewers or readers with the sexual content included.
Yes Bankruptcy is not fun for anyone let alone a company and its employee's struggling to make the site work, function and offer a product that people want and want to spend money on by joining.
Some of Us have been around the site for years and seen many changes in the site and the way it has been managed. Everyone has done the best they could with what they have been told to work with. For some time now I have been in discussions with Andrew the founder of the site on ways we can improve things for both employee's and members alike. I have raised the question here in my blog, meetings, phone calls, through emails and messengers too. Many great people stepped forward to offer wonderful suggestions and constructive ideas on how to repair the site, encourage new members to join and how to better advertise so we can reach a larger audience and gain new members. I want to tell you that all of this was done without insulting any employee or member..No threats, whining, screaming hysteria or swear words. Intelligent people who care about the place they work in and are members of. I made sure Andrew had all the information from both groups of people, employee's and members alike. He knows what members want, what needs fixing and repairing ..He has heard us all say Bring the Phone banks back to US. He knows members want changes to the Message center. He is Listening..all the employee's who work on these various projects are listening. I would love to see Our Abuse dept have a larger role on site as they did back in the days when Andrew ran this company. No more trolls, fake profiles, stalkers and their threats. ALL of it gone.
Yet as I was just reminded by a dear Lady who is so much smarter then I am...all of this won't happen overnight. It is going to take time to re shape the company and bring it back to what Andrew envisioned it to be. We all need to take that collective deep breath, stop insulting each other or tearing into employee's who are only doing what they can and do not deserve your harsh words or insults... Let Us put our Positive thoughts behind the rebirth of this website. PLEASE keep bringing your suggestions and concerns forward so employee's can work with you on any issue and perhaps your brilliant ideas will be enacted upon. The site can only grow if we all continue to feed, water and care for it. Imagine how great this site can be if we all treated it like the treasure it is and treated each other as we would like to be treated. With Respect and courtesy...After all this is FriendFinder-x, isn't it ? Emphasis on ADULT !!!

Hello all,
I was talking with a friend/fellow member here about the ratio of men to women and it seems more and more women are quitting the site and blaming the glitches, the way some male members treat them and the way the site advertises..so here is my question, How can we attract more women members to join the site which will in turn lead to more men being willing to pay/join this site to meet the female members ?
What kind of advertising would you like to see ? What attracted you to A F F ? Did you find what you were looking for ? What things would you like to change ? I will do my best to make sure all replies reach the management of this site.
I was going to write this post out and was delayed by an email here on site so I went to go read/reply to it. I do not know this member, never saw him in chat, blogs, advice line etc..He seemed to be upset over the numbers that follow my handle name. His own handle name has numbers in it associated with a British film series. I replied to him very politely and joked with him about his own set of numbers. He wrote back that basically he'd rather be him and the British series then be associated with my numbers. I took a deep breath and wrote back to him, again very polite and wishing him good luck on the site and hoping he'd find what he was searching for. Yes, you guessed it, a swift reply telling me he was only " curious " and that was it. I tried once more with kindness . I suggested that a great way to satisfy his curiosity was to check out the amazing blogs and profiles that members write then you'd be able to tell if you and the member would be compatible and shared interests..One last time, he dashed off a reply to me saying that he NEVER read profiles and that it doesn't matter at the end of the day and Luck does not exist and that I am a woman so I would go against his reasoning. (WTF ?? ) I had to check his profile again to remind myself he was a 20 something yr old man looking for women here, two women at one time is his preference. I hope he finds whatever he is searching for but I for one, was not impressed with him or his style and did not bother replying to the final email.
My Point in mentioning this incident with the emails is to ask..Did he believe the site advertising and expect all women to fall on their knee's before him ? Are these the kind of emails that women are being flooded with and complain about ? If the site changed the way it advertised itself and attracted more women to join would emails like the ones I received tonight diminish ? If the site changed how it advertised to both men and women would the results here be better ? I know we've discussed in some of my other blog postings the other things members would like changed and I've given all your ideas to the Management and the Man who founded this site.. Let us see in this post if we can all put all our heads together and see a way to attract more women to this website and increase our membership here. Share with us your ideas on how we can advertise this site in a way that is attractive to both women and men.

First off let me say Thank you to everyone who was kind enough to post to my first Attn all members blog and were so kind and caring to share your thoughts on how to fix the site/save it. Some of you phoned me, emailed me and shared instant messages. Members and some folks who worked here previously have been wonderful about sharing those ideas for all of Us to benefit from.
For over a year I have been lucky to be in contact with the Creator of this site. I have been the "annoying Lit redhead" who keeps asking him to come back and save the ship. He is a great man and one of my Heroes!! When our discussion became serious about saving/protecting the site/employees and members, that is when I posted asking for advice. I collected all the data and sent it on to the Founder of the site. He now has all your good ideas and every little bug or incident I have made sure he is aware of too. I promised all of you that I would make sure the man who can fix things on site would see your ideas and he did. I kept my word.
Let me tell you what I know..The Founder of the site is a very brilliant man. He is the man who first created "Bling" . He truly cares about the Bling..the Blogs and Members first. I am so grateful he put up with my endless pleading to come back and rescue his Baby. I always had Faith in him and am thrilled beyond belief he has come "home" to work on the issues currently affecting the site. This is such a Plus for the site and for all of us, members and employees alike.

I've been tagged...Yeahhhhhh someone thought enough of me to do that..or as I truly think, thought I was sooo boring I could not come up with Ten things..LOL..or needed a boost to my blog..LOL.

Ten things you did not know about me ( Or you did and never really wanted to know..or you did not but guessed if it was weird..it must be wee wicked ANA6 I am British/Irish/Dutch/American Indian (2 different tribes ) I am very proud of my own brand of diversity.
I am an unrepentant sugar DOLL/Kept woman. I provide pleasure and I am taken care of. No apologies here.
I am a writer (who is soo in need of a great editor) and actor. I have done both since I was a . I used to work in the Horror/mystery genre until I discovered a talent for erotica which I love, LOVE writing. (Thank you to my "Prince" )
I work out daily with a regular weekly routine of 700 pushups and arm curls with weights..70 miles of biking and running too. I love to dance and believe without music I'd perish swiftly.
I collect some toys..mostly dolls. I now have way to many..the same with lingerie, corsets and purses..wayyyy to many.
I love to Travel and we usually spend time in Southern California and Las Vegas.
Most folks see me as Strawberry Shortcake Princess Kitten type. I see myself as just me. I am loyal and can be counted on in emergencies to stand with the ones who need me the most. I may look like a sex kitten/toy doll but I have a core of steel where those I love are concerned. I am also Five feet 1 inch tall..hence the little, wicked wee part of how they see me. Yes, it has been said my chest has a tendency to enter a room 30 mins before the rest of me.
I have been told by some friends here that I am to nice, sweet, kind and complimentary to others. I see it as being Me..I want to make people feel good and smile..and well, screw it folks, I am damm good at it. I believe in what I say and I believe in compliments and praise. You only get once chance to get it right and make someones day better..take that chance. The reward will be Great Karma for life.
I love to bake desserts and love cooking shows. I am quite a foodie but do not have expensive taste in foods. I also do not drink much except for my one drink a year limit when I am in Las Vegas and dancing on table tops. I have no need for drugs..Life; happiness and pleasing a man can be my drug.
I have my S-Daddy and one other man has claims on me..Prince Charming. He knows who he is.

I was blogging on my other g site and thought I'd borrow some of my post there to share here..why not ? My words, my life and I give good share..LOL.
My other blog is a nice one built around my House..a Haunted one at that. I feel bad for folks who see some of my collectibles and come there expecting toy stories and end up in Haunted Sugar DOLL LAND.
I am known as a "Sugar DOLL " as I live with the man who takes care of me and provides for me. He buys the toys and I show my appreciation. He is a good man, a better man than some one like me deserves. I do my best to keep him happy. At least I think he is happy. I am pretty sure he'd prefer it if I did not have so many many male friends. Well, I have one less now. LOL. Thanks Prince O Pain..Message received.
