Still Loving Florida. Started a new job in Tampa.... the customer service job I tried at home was a big bust. Not my thing. so went back to what I know.... Accounting. Yes I'm a number cruncher.... love those little numbers

Wow what an awesome summer I have had. I moved to Florida from Texas back in June. Live in an great little subdivision with a great pool which I go to every day. I have been visiting beaches and water parks and going to the local wild life areas. I feel like this is where I should be at this point in my life and am happier than I can remember being ever!
Monday I'm starting a new work at home job. uuggh.. don't want to but I have bills to pay

I celebrated my 60th birthday on December 30th.
I took a 3000 mile road trip.
Left Austin went to
Graceland in Memphis Tennessee
Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
Hard Rock Cafe in Buloxi, Mississippi
then back to Austin.
What an adventure......

I've been doing a lot of thinking, soul searching, what ever you want to call it lately. A few weeks ago I had an emotional weekend.... due to some hormone issues... but I think it was a good thing. I realized I was actually kinda lonely and guess I was trying to fill that void with unemotional sex.
Well I decided that I have "seen the light"... what I mean by that is you have to be happy with what you are doing and I decided I wasn't really happy. I realized that by letting myself do that I wasn't really respecting who I am a person.
I look back over the last two years and realize now that all that sex.... some good.... some not so much doesn't really give you a lasting feeling it's just an at the moment high that left me wanting more.
What is that more?
A Connnection.... a friend..... a lover..... a confidant....
No way am I ready for a full blown relationship but am looking for that serious FWB... with emphasis on the "F". When you find that one or two great fwb's you don't have to keep looking for more and more...
I enjoy going out and having fun then coming home to have some "fun" and I enjoy the company of a nice looking man. I may be shallow in some people's perspective but I know what I want and I am done settling.
Why is that so hard for guys to understand?
If you show respect to a woman.... don't just treat her as an object.... you will get so much more out of it. Woman are like old cars you have to warm us up.
Now don't think that we don't enjoy a good round of just sex but that is not all there is and when you have a friendship that just sex is even better.
I'm not thinking that I will meet my soul mate on FriendFinder-x but I do believe there are some good men on here.
I met a one of those a week ago...

Well my life has been an up ad down. my new job is going good.... just very busy. I'm still looking for that regular FWB. Where is he? damn if I know!!!!!
I'm still looking for that man that meets all my requirements. So says all us women.
I'm kinda taking a little break and re-evaluating what I want.
Oh and also my best guy friend has a girl friend and has stopped calling me... guess she is a jealous person. He didn't tell me another friend did. that kinda hurt my feeling that he didn't tell me.

Happy Saturday, September 12th... I have been in my new place a few weeks now and I am totally loving my freedom. It has been a long hard year.... but the rest of the year will be great.
I'm rebuilding my life, my bank account, my stuff... all falling into place.

I've been MIA from posting on my blog.... why you ask? Well I had to move in with my after the big accident that took away my rolling home.
Over the last 4 months I've been trying to get my shit together, Well it's finally within reach.

I'm moving into my own place in the next couple of weeks.

back in October I lost my job... In December I turned 59.... I didn't want to go back to the 8-5 desk job so trying to start a home based business. It's not a get rich quick scheme but something that will last a long time 0nce I get it going.
so in the meantime. I'm living in my RV with my ex. we have two bedrooms. So far so good.
In april we are going to Tennessee to work at an RV/campground for the summer.
I will post my travel ing journey as I have time.
