I see a lot of profiles here where people say they are bored. Why would you advertise that you are unable to entertain yourself? It wouldn't perk up my interest in you at all.

When someone messages me saying they are bored, it's even better. Does that actually work for people? It certainly implies that there would be no interest, except that you are so bored you thought you'd message me.

Am I alone in this?
