Yes that is attitude we are talking about and one of the key ingredients of Romance. This fact jumped out at me on my walk through the park yesterday...yes, just another day in the park. Anyway, there were two musicians playing in separate areas of the park. The first one I came to was very good looking,had the best equipment and great talent. But he was just sleep walking through his performance and his audience was falling asleep. Just off to the right was another musician who was of average looks, had just a guitar and sang off key on half the songs. But he was enjoying himself, putting everything into his performance and the large crowd was enjoying the music and having a very good time. Now you are wondering what these guys have to do with romance....well, as long as you have a great attitude and put yourself into the situation, you will have a great time. It does not matter about your looks or abilities, as long as you have a great attitude and don't sleep walk through romance...everyone will have a good time. Damn...it must be the 4th of July.

I was doing my own personal Sunrise Service, gazing out over the water and todays Romantic thought just flushed all over me. In romance, we have all experienced that peaceful easy feeling which is called The Moment. We don't know when it will occur, what brought it on, what happened before or what is going to happen after. It can occur while holding hands, gazing into your partners eyes, during a long or short kiss, during mad passionate love making or just stroking the brow of your partner....it could even be those sweet nothings spoken during pauses of love making. This Zone that envelops you is such a great feeling yet we can't bottle it or keep it, you just have to be ready for it and enjoy it to the fullest. Now, go out there and hunt for your Easter eggs and your next moment. Great day to you my friends.

Spring is in the air so we will delve into the most mysterious and misunderstood part of romance...The Kiss. The kiss can be used as a curse...kiss of death, as a cuss...kiss my ass, to describe action...kissed of the cue ball, distinguish nationalities...French Kiss or kiss me I'm Irish, a greeting...kiss each cheek of a person, family bond...kiss your sister or any family member and many other occasions. So, there is no wonder why the kiss is such a mysterious gesture. We are only going to cover the romantic personality of the kiss and you will really be confused when I get through. So many profiles and blogs on this site say....oh, and I love kissing. Well there is no manual on romantic kissing and don't let any one try to tell you how it is done. Kissing is strictly natural and you have to go by feel. Everyone is very apprehensive about that first romantic kiss[ yes, even me] because it is so personal and you have no clue on what to expect. What makes a kiss is that feeling... whether it is a peck,a lip sucking vacuum,a tongue tango or a tonsil remover. No matter what the physical aspect of the kiss is consummated....it is the sensual feeling that is relayed between the two participants. The kiss is such a wonderful part of life and romance, but it has to remain mysterious and done with true feeling and passion with no agenda or rule book. Oh yeah, it does not hurt to do lots of practicing.

I was having another great day in the park and started watching a bumblebee. Of course I'm always thinking of romance and I realized how much a bumblebee's plight in life is similar to romance. You see a bumblebee is aerodynamically not built to fly but it does not realize this and goes about flying and enjoying life. Now when bad weather grounds this fellow from flight it just holes up until it passes and then goes back out there enjoying all the benefits of flying. Romance is much the same way, there is no required form or personality to enjoy the benefits of romance. You just go out there and fly with it, when you get grounded by bad luck or bad people....you just let it pass and go back out there like it is a new day and fly right back into the enjoyment of romance. So go out and be a bumblebee and enjoy another great day in the park...Damn, it must be the 4th of July.

Oh, what a day in the park it was yesterday and today is even going to be better.{ For all of you newbies, Saturday In The Park is my parody of the old Chicago song about just how good life is and what you do with it]Anyway, at the park yesterday I noticed a sign that was very apropos and related to....you guessed it, Romance. The sign said: Sit down, Shut up, Don't think too much. Great message to enjoy the park and definitely the way to go with romance. In romance, too many people want to tell what they want, who they are, what they are going to do, what they expect.....and then want to over analyze everything. Romance does not appear on demand, it can't be forced and it sure as hell can't be directed. It is a natural flow and progression.....so, sit down....shut up and don't over think. Romance will come when it happens...so sit back and get ready for when it does. Now, off to enjoy another great day in the park.....it must be the 4th of July.

Yes, I went out and did TGIF correctly and all the demons were chased away. You got to live life to the fullest and I am only half way there. I did come up with another saying tonight{ ok, ok, give some slack ], I was asked by a lady if I could advise her on her dating...in other words, did I know someone. Anyway, I just cut loose with....leave the agenda at home, come with a grin and leave with a grin. If you do not leave with a grin....run like hell and do not try to analyze. Ok...now on to " Saturday In The Park", Can't wait.

Ok folks, I was going to pontificate upon how kissing is undervalued and misunderstood but that will have to wait until a later time. I am sensing a lot of negative vibes coming off these pages....so it is off to the wood shed for those offenders. The wood shed was used for administering punishment{ I was going to put spanking here but there are too many of you who would enjoy that] in hopes that it would change the person for the better. First off, all us live in a non perfect world and how you deal with it is the sermon of the day. We all have monetary problems, social problems, me problems, family problems and some red-ass day problems. We can even throw in an Elliott Spitzer Day problem but that is why TGIF was created. That is "Thank God It Is Friday" for those of you who just woke up from a long sleep. Friday is for letting all those negative demons run with scissors and never to return, put that grin on your face and cut it loose. Dwelling on negative shit does nothing to cure your problems...only creates more problems. So go TGIF "it" and we will talk about Saturday In The Park "it" tomorrow.

Yes, we all have our comfort zones and routines... from chicken on Friday,bowling on Tuesday, brushing your teeth starting on the right side, sleeping on left side of the bed, missionary style sex on Sunday and oral on Tuesday, same friends and same jokes on Friday. Now don't get me wrong, comfort zones are essential and helps life move on....but don't get lazy and carried away with it. Why are spontaneous occurrences so fun and memorable, why did that flirtatious look make your day, why are dreams centered around far away places and exotic people....it is because it take you out of your routine and comfort zone. You knew I was getting here.....So, take romance out of that comfort zone. Be it just for a test drive, small vacation or a complete overhaul. Life is too short not to paint outside the line to see if you enjoy it and what is looks like.

We all have had fear in our lives....fear of: the dark, monsters under the bed, mean old Mr. Miller, first grade, going blind from masturbation, shots from the doctor, peer acceptance, and many other maladies. Maturation has vanquished some of these fears but there are some that linger and change your lifestyle. Fear is also the biggest deterrent for great romance... fear of: heart break, looking the fool, mental prow-less, physical features, true love, compatibility, what you look like with the lights on, and every other excuse known to mankind. There is an old saying that goes something like this... all we have to fear is fear itself. So there are no excuses in romance because you are afraid of something. Go enjoy every aspect of romance and not be afraid of anything....including what you think of your internal self or what you perceive other people think. You never know what you are missing if you are afraid to try it.

Zippidy Day....Oh what a feeling this wonderful day. Great classic song for a Disney movie[ Song Of The South, I think] that should be the theme song for romance. Everyday should be Zippidy DooDa when it comes to romance. Don't let anything like money problems, civil problems, family problems, mental problems or problems in general take your Zippidy DooDa out of your romance. Romance is your other world and Zippidy DooDa energizes that world. So, it's Zippidy DooDa Zippidy Day...oh what a feeling this romantic day. Mojo is for general purposes but Zippidy DooDa is a romantic special...so start humming that song and have a great romantic day.

Everywhere we turn there are rules telling us how to drive, how to pay taxes, what to do on FriendFinder-x and so on and so on. There is one bastion left that has no rules....and that is romance. You can hold hands as long as you want or not, you can kiss and never do anything else, you can enjoy every moment and learn how to find more enjoyment or you can sleep walk through it and be bored. There are no rules for size or lack of it, there are no rules for age and hell...there are no rules for gender. Romance is the last frontier where there are no rules.....just one big free for all. So go enjoy all you can want because there are no rules on how much you bite off.

Yes, it is a song but also one of the nuances of romance. Curiosity is one of the causes of this fever, if you do not have a furtive mind.. romance is boring. Another cause is the need to be stroked and rubbed, you have to put the purrrr factor into romance. Anticipation of new excitement can cause this fever, goose bumps just thinking of the possibilities really can raise this fever. There is no prescribed cure for this fever but exploring new remedies sure can bring a smile to your face.
