Well the invitations have been sent now to see how many people actually show up  This weekend is a gathering for my group the Pocatello Friend's. I sent out over 40 invitations to people in the area and can only hope it goes well.
update: 08/26/09 got the tables and whatnot reserved today, so if your attending ask for Veronica in the front and they'll direct you to where we will be

I was talking to someone the other night about an issue he is having with his submissive and it reminded me of my old post:
What makes a Dominant
Listening to their dilemma just made me more and more angry at the supposed submissive. If I was in his place I would have done one of two things - released her or put her in her place. What makes it so hard is the fact that they are married and he has to juggle his marriage and BDSM all at the same time.
This leads me to the question: Does marriage and BDSM work?
I know for myself and my ex-husband it worked, but I was a switch at the time and gave up full control to him while we were married.
Give me your thoughts and ideas on this...

Rafting trip

This last weekend I went white water rafting and camping for the first time in my life. I have to say it was the best time I've had in a long time. I met some new friends and was able to see some I have not seen in a long time. Granted some had more fun than others, but I knew I couldn't misbehave since I'm not fully recovered. So I was a good little girl and kept my hands to myself, well for the most part anyway 
On Thursday the drive up was gorgeous through Idaho and on into Wyoming. The city of Alpine is a quaint little tourist town that caters to anyone who has a love for the outdoors. Dinner was delicious and plentiful. My first night roughing it went rather well, even though I slept comfortably in a 5th wheel and not in a tent and a sleeping back.
Friday morning I had my first campfire cooking and it was different but very good. I chickened out of a run down the rapids and chose to go to a nearby hot springs with some friends. The hot water was heaven to my tense muscles and I loved every minute of it. Afterward we went into Jackson Hole, Wyoming and visited some of the shops which all seem to have the same things in them. I didn't find anything interesting enough to get the as a gift. More friends arrived that evening and we had another wonderful dinner. We made not only regular Smores but Snickers Smores for dessert, both of which are quite tasty.
We all woke up early Saturday morning for a very filling breakfast and it was time to go rafting. Myself and two of my friends were virgins to rafting so the fear and excitement was pretty high that morning. After it was all said and done I have to say that rafting has to have been the most exhilirating experience I've ever had in a long time. It was also one of the most exhausting so after another wonderful dinner we all stayed up a little longer talking about old movies around the campfire before it was bedtime. We are going to try and make one final run before heading back home.
Sunday morning we had biscuits, scrambled eggs, and sausage gravy before packing up the camp in readiness to leave as soon as we finished our last run. This time the water was much rougher and the rapids were harder on us. The only casuality was the loss of a baseball cap somewhere around the Lunch Counter area of the run. We made it back to the camp and headed home. I know I couldn't wait to get back because I was starting to miss my . The drive home was even lovelier than the drive up because I was awake for more of it. My were very happy to see me when they saw me outside of the drive way.
I had a wonderful time this weekend and can't wait to go rafting and camping again real soon.

I was sitting on my couch watching a movie with my when it struck me what I was doing on this exact day a year ago.
Has that ever happened to you? A memory suddenly pops into your head and you just can't shake it. It doesn't matter if it was a good or a bad memory either it just replays in your head as if it only happened yesterday.
I've had so many happy memories throughout my life, but at times it seems like all the bad ones seem to out weigh them.
And then there are those happy memories you don't want to remember, those that were given to you by someone who is no longer in your life for some reason or another, those are one's you'd rather forget.
Bad memories are always either in the forefront of your mind are shoved so far back it's impossible to remember them.

So I log on today to check emails like I was last night and wouldn't you know it there is a message from the admin. I've been banned for 24 hours for giving out contact info in the chat room.
I sit here rummaging through my head as to when/where I gave this supposed information out at. It still evades me as to when this occurred.
With nothing left to do but wait for this banning to expire I shall be available through other means.
C'est la vie!

People that are closed minded about things just aren't worth the effort of trying to get them to understand. They refuse to understand why people do what they do in their lives. No matter how hard you try it will be for not, so trust when I say don't bother. Just block them, ignore them, do what you can to avoid them, because they will only try to make you feel like crap.

Morgyn Briana Rose was born on June 18th 2009 at 1126p. She weighed 6 lbs 6 ounces and was 20 long.
I'm home now finally and have posted pictures of the baby on both my Myspace and Facebook accounts.

It has been 48 hours since I went into the 1st stages of labor and still no baby. If she isn't here by tonight she's being evicted on Monday
