Well I can't believe it's been almost 3 years since I went back to school. If everything goes well I'll be graduating with my Associates degree in December and continuing on in the Spring for my Bachelors degree. This semester I will be taking 12 credits (4 classes) and be working as an intern at my local court house. I start there tomorrow and I'm nervous and excited at the same time.
It's been years since I logged back onto this site and I do so with much trepidation, but my therapist says I need to work on my triggers. Why do I have a therapist you ask? Well because of something that happened almost 4 years ago, and unless you know me personally I'm not saying anything. Let's just say I now know who my true friends are.
Anyway, back to my train of thought, I hope to work on my triggers and so coming on here has helped not only that but it's helped other issues.

Mid-terms and extractions don't mix

It's already halfway through the semester and I can't believe how time has flown.
I am loving my classes, except Math  well because it's Math dammit; do I really need an excuse not to like it 
I had to have a tooth extracted at the beginning of the week of dammit if it wasn't the worst timing. Dry socket sucks!
Things at home are there; better but not worse. The drama is still there but we deal with it one day at a time.
Wishing that some people would just disappear isn't all it's cut out to be, but I'll be patient and wait for Karma to find those who need to be found and paid back 3 fold.
I don't get to spend as much time with my love as I would like but at least he was one of the lucky ones to still have a job.
It's odd because we seem to complete each other's lives; yes I know that's super sappy; but it's how I feel. We are there for the other during good times and bad times. More good than bad is much better than my previous relationships.
The past still lingers but I keep it at bay and not let it overwhelm me; even when it sneaks back into my life every now and again. The Goddess helps me through those times just as she always has when I've needed with me.
I still get flack for believing what I do, but I don't let it affect me. To me there is someone up there that watches over us all and everyone just calls her/him/it by a different name.
If my friends/family can't accept that I'm Wiccan and don't believe in their god to damn bad, I have that freedom.
Enough ramblings...it's time to start on a take home mid-term for my Ethics class.

It's not even been two weeks and I'm already elbow deep in school work. I just remind myself why I'm doing what I'm doing and for who I'm doing it for.
I was able to get into my program and I am sooo excited.
We had to cancel to trip to Jackpot last weekend because I just had to much homework to do. Damn math is my nemesis

I can't believe it's been almost a year since I've blogged on here. Shortly after my last post my boyfriend and I reconciled and have been going strong ever since. It will be slow to regain the trust that was lost, but I hope to attain that goal.
There are other things that have changed in my life as well. I've gone back to college, yeah after 14 years I need to find a career that will help me support my and be self sufficient once again.
I've chosen paralegal studies with a minor in history. I want to be able to help those fathers who deserve to have their , because there are those mothers who shouldn't have their at all. I want to give back to the community in the same way that I did as a dispatcher.
My first semester I took 3 classes and my GPA is 3.33  I'm so excited and have the full support of my boyfriend and my family. I am pretty stubborn when it comes to my goals, but they are never unattainable.
Wish me luck everyone, hope you've all had a wonderful summer so far.

As ya'll have probably seen I'm single again, I won't go into details but we've decided to go our separate ways. Trust me, it's for the best at this point of our lives.
I'm not sure when I'll be ready enough to start seeing other people, but only time will tell for sure. For now I'll live one day at a time and see what the future holds.

Sorry I've been rather quiet the last few months. Settled life as my friend Wes calls it has been hectic as of late. The move and other personal issues seem to be taking up alot of my time. I'll try to keep you all up to date when I can.

Moving on up...

Well it's almost official, I'll be moving to a bigger place to have more room for everyone. I'm excited and can't wait to begin the move. I will have the keys in this morning and we can start moving in after that.
My small family will now have 1 more person in it and most of you know who that is, my boyfriend. We will have more than enough room for Babe, his as well.
I'm hoping we'll be moved in before Feb 7th for our Super Bowl Party, we are still inviting people that we know who can make it. So if we haven't asked you yet bear with us until we know if we'll even be moved into the new house on time.
Wish me luck, I'm going to need it.
