Not sure if Waylon Jennings had it right or not when he sang “Looking for love in all the wrong places” was right or not. Are we looking for love or just looking for a “good time”? In some cases we are looking for love, that one person we all need to fulfill us, to fill that crack in our broken heart. Or, we don’t want that crack filled, and just want to have as much fun as we can so that the pain is no longer felt.
As I have been on this website, I have found some here who are looking for love, and those who just want to keep having as much fun as they can. I can relate to both worlds. Being that I am recently divorced, I am looking for love and companionship. Then there is the other side of me that in my marriage, I found no excitement no thrills. So of course I want to have as much fun as I can right now. Many of the members here are in situations that they wish they were not in, but stay for one reason or another. I feel those who put “LTR” on their profile page cause those are the ones who are looking for love here, knowing that it can happen because they are not alone. Then you have those who put “NSA” cause they want to get out there and enjoy what time they have. These members are “out there” making us want them. I want them all, the LTR and the NSA because they make this site fun, and exciting.
So as for me, whether I find a LTR or an NSA I know that that person is here for the same reason we all are, to enjoy life. I have met a lot of wonderful people here and some not so much. When I don’t here from someone, I wonder what I did or didn’t do. It’s hard to put yourself out there when you have not been out there in quite a while. Many members take pride in who they are, and it shows on their profile page. Many pictures look so good they should be in magazines.
Are we looking for “love” or looking for “lust”? The choice is ours. I may have to flip a coin or something cause the decision I make or don’t make will be mine to make. The same goes for those members out there who know what they want, or don’t want. But the “want” is the key to how you look. Then another line in the song is “Now that I found a friend and a lover”. Is this what we want both a friend and a lover? So whether you are the one who is LTR or NSA does that line apply to your situation? The one thing that I love is when you know someone has been to your profile page; it lets you know that they are looking too. So whether you are “Looking for love in all the wrong places”, or not, at least you are looking for something.
