Rash of Fake accounts

Here we go once again. This time I've noticed that they're occurring in my area when I looked at my home page. Otherwise I probably wouldn't put 2 and 2 together. I'm guessing someone's algorithm that they're using didn't quite get the human touch when mass creating these. Thanks FriendFinder-x for actually catching some of these. I know this because in the past few days of monitoring the first ones I've seen, the accounts have already been deleted.
Some of the signs that I've seen:
- usually in the form of FirstnameLastname### and a string of close similar numbering follows. Caps were included. Mine included a Capitalized initial in the middle. Like anyone would use a real name here. (if you are, then my advice, don't, you're only asking for trouble)
- regional, in my city there are tell tale signs that give them away, yet in a "close by" city the fake account is different, but similar too in their area. You can see the flaw, but could easily be overcome.
- one trait in their visible profiles has been their height, I laugh because in my area all these women have been >6'4". , I must be surrounded by a whole tribe of Amazon women wanting to their men by Snoo Snoo (Futurama reference). Not that that wouldn't be a great way go!
- Age did vary, but only slightly, guess they put that in their algorithm (mine varied between 59 and 64)
- The one (and only one) pic on there was totally off. Especially for the age group they chose to target in this particular created batch. Way too professional and perfect.
- The descriptions were good and varied a lot, heck even one of them wanted marriage.
If you haven't guessed me by now, I'm pretty analytic, a hobby of mine. I probably put as much effort into analyzing these as the person on the other end put into programming their software to generate these fake profiles.
Why did I create this blog? Not sure. But FriendFinder-x does have a "Report Abuse" link in their footer if you choose to help out the "real" community. Yes, they have a "Suspected Face account" selection.

Way to go FriendFinder-x, all of those I've been monitoring have been deleted, guess it does work.

Live Member Webcams are different these days

Hey everyone,
I like to pursue the webcams every now and then and I particularly like watching the every day woman that looks, for the lack of a better word, looks "normal". Normal is more like the opposite of "made up", or "professional " and not a bad stereotype of what is considered attractive. Personally I like the older and curvier variety of women, but that's not limiting for me.
What I don't really go for is the "professional" porn star like cams that seem to be creeping up noticeably in the "Live Member Webcams" section. And probably should be moved to the "Live Model Webcams" instead.
Recently, it seems like A&F&F went on a mission to Colombia to recruit a lot of these "Models" that started appearing here in the good ole "amateur" area. Nothing against Colombia, nice models, but me seems.... obvious.
Another thing I found myself doing is pointing out the signs of the professional by the background. (yea I know, who notices the background ) 's like A&F&F issued a standard...
1) make sure your bed is tiny and don't have a real mattress on there , you're not there for comfort.
2) a fancy, sterile, headboard.... A MUST!
3) Staged art on walls, or nothing.
4) When on cam, openly demand TIPs to show. Really?

6) Flawless lighting
are these and other stuff that just makes seem less genuine, the kind that you get from a lovely "person" 's just enjoying themselves on cam, and the attention of others.
I wished that A&F&F would refine their efforts into their filter on the Live Members Webcam page so that somehow I could avoid the fake stuff. But perhaps that wouldn't fit into their business model. What would TV be like if you could just filter out the commercials? 
Would love to hear other's intelligent thoughts on this...

Implications behind FriendFinder-x benefitting from your webcam broadcast

Here's an interesting thought, I always enjoyed a few webcams of some very lovely ladies out there. I myself love watching the more ordinary "not barbie type" woman out there who's found her inner voyeur. I applaud you all!!!
One thing I thought though, these women are doing this for their own reasons.... which made me wonder what their thoughts were when FriendFinder-x starts benefiting directly from their webcam broadcast (20 points per view, and lets face it, points=$$$ in the end). I'm pretty sure that the idea of being pimped out for the website's direct revenue isn't what they had in mind when they hit that broadcast button.
Remember this is not the "tips" based system that they introduced not too long ago, which to my understanding, points went to the lovely lady on cam (and men, not to be sexist here).
