Beginning of week 3. Feeling completely out of energy. Operation: look good naked again is going well. Down to ~358lbs this morning. 19lbs in 20 days - not bad.

Ordered a bunch of exercise equipment. Plans to do at least one full workout and one ab workout a day. Workout is limited due to lack of energy. But, atm I'm doing 425 abs per workout, plus I begin running ~1/2 my walking path, which is around 1/2 a mile.

I'm super excited to get back in shape to live health again and be able to lay some serious pipe. Yeah!

Three weeks in and I'm feeling better. Down around 364 and I was running a bit today. I also walked for over an hour. It was nice to exercise. On track to getting right.

Day - 268lbs (down 9 lbs)

Ten days in I feel kinda awful. This diet is rough as shit, I'm exhausted from doing nothing. I working my ass off, taking long walks and doing tons of 'sit-ups' daily. I pound out ~400 'sit-ups' and walk 1/2 mile each time I work out. So far I've have the energy for one workout a day, until today. Right now I'm up to two and doing okay. Goal is to get to ~355lbs in the next two weeks. At that point I'll be light enough to start running. Then the weight is really going to come off.

My journey to fix myself

Roughly 18 years ago I was diagnosed bi-polar 2 (non-severe version of bi-poplar lol) and put on medication. This began my nightmare with big pharma. After I stopped my own hair loss by discontinuing Depakote, something they insisted wasn't a thing that was later unveiled to be a thing, I had gained roughly 35lbs on that med, putting me at ~270. Then I started Abilify. What a treat. I eventually ballooned to 354lbs before dieting for the first time in my life.

At age 29, I decided to pursue college football again. The coach told me to get below 300lbs or I couldn't play. And in college, there is no negotiating; I had to get it done. So, I discontinued the Abilify for a brief time and dropped major weight by working out 2.5 hours a day, every day. One of the proudest days of my life was when I weighed in on the first day of camp at 297lbs. By the time I finished playing that year I had dropped to 278lbs.

Then life happened and I got back on the Abilify. Long story short, in 20, I went into the doctor office and weighed in at 4lbs. I was mortified. There was only one tune ringing in my ear since, "there are no old fat people." So, I talked with the wife and she agreed to support me. I stopped the Abilify and have been maintaining with marijuana and operating in life just fine ever since.

Fast forward to May 2021 and I stumble across an article that explains the company knew the medication caused severe weight gain and other harmful symptoms. Also, my state appointed psychiatrist was accepting a fortune in payouts from their reps every year for handing out samples. Who knew? Regardless, it was up to me to again fix this. So, I decided to diet for the second time in my life.

Over the last 4 years, I've been able to lose ~32lbs; I now weighed 385lbs. I got a gym membership and recently started working out with results. Then I heard about this Nutrisystem meal plan and how well it worked for one of the guys on the Stern show. I was able to watch this guy lose ~60lbs in the last 6 months and decided to give it a go myself. This is where the true journey back to being right begins.

I weighed in at 377lbs on 9/21/21, the day I began the diet and exercise program. Here we're going to monitor my progress.
