This blog is a place for me to do some creative writing. Some will have a kernel of truth and a lot of fiction while some will be purely fiction. Being the gentleman I am. the innocent and the not so innocent will have their privacy protected. Most of this will be written for the readers pleasure.
Personally, I'm an older, retired guy who was divorced a few years ago. I try to have fun in life and live my life to the fullest even if only in my imagination. I do some travel and reside in different parts of the central US depending on the seasons.

Snowbird Migration

Here in South Texas, which relies on tourism, getting ready for the Snowbird migration is an annual affair. For some businesses, it becomes the difference between surviving the winter and going out of business so the preparations become critical.
For the rental accommodations it is a matter of rate adjustment along with perks and environment. Most Snowbirds are going to be in an age range of 60 – 80, married, and from the upper Midwest. Most older Midwesterners are rather tight with their ! The rental rates are going be significantly discounted for longer term such as weekly or monthly but only good until spring break starts where the real is. Morning coffee and some type of breakfast are mandatory. The choice of background music is going to be either country or classic rock; absolutely NO . Quiet time is from 8p till 4a.
Restaurants change their menus and provide smaller, inexpensive meals until 3 or 4 pm. Simple things that are inexpensive for them to make. Lots of fish, shrimp or hamburger.
The bars now run Happy Hour from a 4 or 5 pm. Busch light is the primary beer of choice usually for a $1 or less a can. Takes many, many truckloads for Snowbird season. Some places have live music from 1pm 7pm.
Then there are the changes the bathrooms that are hard believe. In the men’s, they take out the condom dispensers and install lubricated penis sleeve machines for your pleasure. Please flush after use! They also tried installing machines for ED meds, but the women threatened boycott the bar because of residual aftereffects. In the lady’s, they change the Tampon dispensers those dispensing Depends. All that Busch sometimes wants leak out a little!
