Time for a rest.

2013 is done and it's time to reflect on what happened and to prepare for what's to come. Last year was particularly crazy and it started off pretty rough. I suppose it's these kinds of things that teach us lessons about life and where we're going in life. The rest of the year was off and on and I was able to take a couple of weeks vacation to a distant land to recharge the batteries.
Looking at 2014, I wonder how things will turn out. Lots of interesting things going on and if all goes well, it may end up being a good year. At least this is what I'm hoping.
One thing is for sure, I'm not looking forward to the consumption tax increase in a couple of months.

It's another night at way past my bedtime and I'm sitting at the computer thinking of ways to pass the time. Not that there's nothing to do, but there's just too much to do. At the same time the daunting tasks before me kinda put me in a frame of mind to do nothing.
So, I sit here sifting through profiles on FriendFinder-x and wondering how one really goes about chatting with folks without sounding like some crazy stalker. I suppose at the end of the day it really doesn't matter, but it's one of those funny little thoughts I had while browsing through some of the profiles here. Heh, makes me wonder if I should change mine up a bit. Some folks have some serious profiles, while others border on the generic...like mine.
Nothing wrong with generic, though. Sometimes that's all it's about. Life is just simple and easy. Well, perhaps "easy" isn't the right word. Actually, I'm not even sure if "simple" sums mine up considering how busy things have been in recent months. I'm sure you know what I mean.
Anyway, I'm just now getting over a cold or bad allergies...not sure which. Works out the same either way. Slept most of the day yesterday and did much of nothing. Now, I'm reading profiles and contemplating life, the universe, and everything. I guess it's not a bad way to pass the time.

A Great Time of Year

It's the holidays and I think is is always a great time to meet new people or to spend time with that special someone in your life. Life is short and we should all take a moment to appreciate what we have in our lives as well as looking towards the future and all of the men and women you'll hopefully meet on this site.
Honestly, I hope to curl up with a nice woman on Christmas day. Nothing beats a little romp on the wild side in the morning. Yeah, it's a great time of year.

This is really my first time coming to a place like this. As I look over so many profiles with what limited view I'm afforded, it helps reinforce the idea that the world is such a huge place and people are able to meet up with other like-minded folks easily. What I find even more interesting is that so many people are looking for partners and such live so close to me.
It's crazy to think that the person you see on the train everyday is trying to satisfy their sexual urges or the need to find someone special in a community that allows people to really be themselves. I hope that all those that are looking for love, or simply want to get laid, find what you're looking for. Ultimately, it's really all about enjoying ourselves in the end.

Another day is done, and I'm sitting at home trying to figure out what to do next. Doing a bit of relaxing as I just returned from vacation and have no desire to do much of anything else. That's the thing about vacation, it's great to have, but can totally sap your will and keep you from going back to work.
Best I can hope for now is to enjoy the coming Christmas/ New Years vacation which should net me a few days to relax.
On a lighter note, it's getting cold here in Kanagawa, but it doesn't seem to be as bad as it was last year. Some people I know are starting to wear coats, but I'm still using a jacket. Thick jacket, mind you, but still just a jacket. I think I'm really starting to appreciate cooler weather.
