Hello faithful readers! I hope all is well with you. I thought I would write this post to let you all know what's happening with me.

About 2 1/2 years ago I started going to a neurologist because of my migraines. He had me get an MRI done at that time and every 6 months after. A spot about the size of a rice kernel was found on that first MRI, but we weren't too concerned about it because we thought it was probably just scar tissue from a concussion I had when I was 21 (21 years ago). Well, last spring I had my biannual MRI and the spot had grown to the size of my thumbnail.

I was referred to a neuro-surgeon, who told me that he believes I could possibly have a slow growing tumor. (My neurologist is calling it a "gray matter lesion".) Regardless of what it is, I'm going to have surgery on Friday, August 22 to have it removed - along with some of my gray matter - and my hair (part of it at least).

They think the tumor (or lesion) is on my motor tract, so I might lose some of my motor skills temporarily. I'm going to be out of work between 4 and 6 weeks, so hopefully that will be enough time to get whatever I lose, back.

To say that I'm a bit stressed is an understatement! Luckily, I have my friends, family, and, of course, MJ here for me. My mom says that there are a lot of people back home praying for me. I would appreciate your prayers as well!

After I get home from the hospital and am able to type, I'll let you all know how I'm doing.

In my previous blog, Spunky asked me how my pooches were doing. Up until this afternoon, I would have been able to tell him that they were all doing fine. But unfortunately, I can’t say that now. This morning, one of MJ’s puppies, Lacy, was hit by a car. She had just turned a year old this past Tuesday.

She was very sweet when she wanted to be, and a royal pain in the butt the next. I fondly called her a “defiant little sh*t”. She marched to the tune of her own drummer, and she had started teaching her brother, Bandit, her little tricks of annoyance.

Even though they came out of the same litter, Lacy had matured mentally a lot faster than Bandit. She acted like a defiant , while Bandit was more of a tag along brother. Where ever Lacy went, Bandit was not far behind her. We think that he was probably there when she got hit. He seems to be doing okay so far, although he is very clingy to MJ.

Lacy was his buddy. They played together, ate together, and slept in the same crate together. On one hand MJ thinks that we should get another soon to be a playmate for Bandit. Even though I have 5 dogs, they are all “geriatric” and big. Only one of them plays with him, and she plays a bit rough. If we were to get another one, we would need to get one about the same size (about 20 pounds). On the other hand, I don’t know if I want to “replace” Lacy this fast.

What is the best thing to do in this situation?

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Hello everyone!!! I know it's been a long time since I've posted, but life has really been going well for me!

So why come back now??? Well, I wanted to see how everyone's been doing. Even though I'm not here everyday like I used to be, doesn't mean I still don't think about you guys!!!!

Mzhuny is still going strong...

Flyaway is still "flying!" ...

Spunky is still the "Spunkman"...

Countryheart is still working hard on being the greatest mom she can... You go girl!!!

Digdug is still Diggy...but is moving back to New York...Gee, he lived in Missouri for so long and I never got a chance to meet him... Good Luck to you buddy...

Smilemyway finally found someone to make him happy...Congratulations!!! ...

Playtime has also found someone that seems to be making him happy...Congrats to you too!!!

Silverbreeze seems to be doing well too!

SWsunset has found someone also!!! I'm happy for you!!!

There are a few faces I don't see anymore...Curiousinlorain...last time I heard she was getting married...Has anyone heard from her?

Where's my talison? I haven't talked to him for a very long time. I'd love to hear from him again.

If I didn't mention your name, it's not because I don't care, it's because I haven't had a chance to go through all my old blogland friends yet!!!!

Okay, so how have I been??? I've been doing pretty well! I have to explain that one of the reasons I dropped out of sight and turned my profile off was because I was being harrassed by someone who lives near me. I know I could have just blocked her, but it was easier just to take a break for a while...and then one thing lead to another, and I just got busy living!

I'm still with MJ...my romeo. Our relationship is still going strong, even with the mishaps of last year. His divorce was supposed to final yesterday, but it got bumped to April 30th. Hopefully, it will happen this time. His soon2bx was giving him a really hard time about it. She's refused to get a lawyer or to sign the settlement agreement. Luckily he can go to court without her signature!!!

I had a miracle happen in January, although it won't sound like much of one. For those women in the same boat as me, you'll see it as a miracle. I found out a couple of weeks ago that I had had a miscarriage in January. No, the miscarriage was not the miracle...it's the fact that I had been pregnant was the miracle. For the last 7 years, I had thought that I was unable to get pregnant...thanks the a obgyn I had seen back in 2001. The new obgyn says that I am fully capable of getting pregnant!!! It's very exciting, except for the fact that I'm 42 years old! MJ and I have talked about this in great detail. We've decided that if I do get pregnant, and everything is okay, we will welcome it with open arms. What do you think? Do you think 42 is too old to be having ?

I'm still losing weight. It's coming off very slow, but it's still coming off. MJ and I took some pictures this weekend and I compared them with pictures from last year, and wow, there is a big difference. In total, I've lost almost 50 pounds, which doesn't seem like much more than the last time I was on here, but even though I haven't lost the pounds, I've lost the inches. I can tell that when I have to keep buying smaller sizes!!!

If anyone noticed, I cut my hair and it's now red!! In total, I cut about 7 - 8 inches off. (2 inches that I did myself, and 5-6 inches that I had a professional cut!!) I really like it. The red seems to suit me...

Well, that's it for now. I hope I haven't bored you all with all my babble. I plan on checking in a lot more often than once every four months!!!

Talk to you soon, Lacey...aka...lovemetouchme5...aka...Lisa

Hello all...Just checking in...

The biggest thing that's going on in my life right now is going to happen on this Wednesday...November 14...

MJ's cousin is a program director for a radio station in St. Louis...After a couple of phone calls...he was able to get us FOUR tickets to see GARTH on Wednesday!!! WHO HOO!!! I can't wait!!! It's going to be broadcast in theatres across the country...So totally cool!!!!

The next biggest thing is going to be on Thursday, November 15th...I'm going in for my annual mammogram!! Not as excited as going to the Garth concert, but ironically, some of the proceeds of his CD sales are going to breast cancer research...(The Susan J. Komen foundation)... I think it's appropriate.

Well, see you all later... Lacey

It's already been a year????

WOW! I can't believe how time has flown by. For the last two weeks I have been thinking about a year ago. It has already been a year since Shaye and I (as [blog lovemetouchme5]) visited many of you on our road trip to the east coast. It's already been a year???!!!! So many things have happened over this year.

Almost a year ago I celebrated my 41st birthday. I wrote a blog stating I wanted 41 comments...I was so moved by the number of responses I got.

The next thing was MJ moving in with me last October. We had some shaky moments last spring, but we're doing great now.

The third thing to happen was my divorce. Getting out of that abusive relationship was one of the most difficult but bravest things I've ever done.

With the divorce done, I started my own DJ business. During the spring I had quite a few bookings, but I've slowed down recently. I need to do more advertising, which I plan to do soon.

Wow!!! I almost one very important event!!! In March I got to meet countryheart_71. It was a wonderful getting to finally put a face to her name!

With my new found freedom, I went a little crazy and had some Amish build me a carport (which is great) and then I painted my house...which by the way is "mixed berries". It looked really good on the swatch, but on the house it looks pink. We plan on repainting it next spring. Any suggestions on color???

Another thing was when I had my gall bladder removed last May. I spent my time recuperating watching "The Biggest Loser" marathon. It inspired me so much that I've already lost 40 pounds and dropped 3 sizes...Even my boobs are smaller!!!

During the spring I also reinvented myself as Laceynitey. I needed a change so here I am! I haven't had time to do a lot with her, but hopefully in the future you'll see more of her!!!

The next thing that happened was when MJ and I added two corgi puppies to our family. They are adorable, and are having a great time living on my farm.

Who can forget my trip to Colorado in June? It was just a vacation, but it's something that I've wanted to do for a long time.

Getting back to pets, about three weeks ago, Cusco, the llama, joined the family. He had been MJ's pet for many years, but went to a different home for about 1 1/2 years. It's nice to have him here.

And now, in four days I'm going to celebrate another birthday! Hmmm, it would be nice to get 42 comments, but that doesn't seem possible since I've been away for so long.

Well that's about it. It's been an exciting year, and I hope the next one is just as great.

I've read a few blogs and it seems that some of you are moving to another site. It's sad to hear that...wish I knew what that "site" is??? (hint hint hint)

Bye for now, Lacey aka Lisa

The Perfect Husband???

I was doing some cleaning today and I ran across some of my journals that I kept when I was much younger…After reading through them, I couldn’t believe some of the things that I had written…Below is an excerpt from when I was 20:

“…well after thinking about it, I have come up with my “perfect” husband ‒ I think that the “perfect” husband for me would have to be someone who will love me for who I am, someone who will put me on a pedestal and treasure me, someone who will pamper me…be honest, be sentimental, “crazy”, make me feel good about myself, someone who I can trust, someone who will keep the promises made…someone who’s attractive inside (maybe outside), someone who has matured physically, emotionally, intellectually, and mentally. Someone who won’t take out all his anger out on me, who will care enough about me to understand the needs that I have, someone who will make me think that I’m boss, but really isn’t, someone who will cherish our relationship, someone who will not take me for granted, someone who will keep “our” things sacred, someone who will give me all his love and some, some who will say “us” and “we” before “me” or “you”. I know it sounds like I’m going to be searching my entire life for the man of my dreams but some how I feel like he’s always been around, I’ve not seen him yet…”

Wow!!! And I was only 20!!! I should have looked at that list before I got married to my ex! It would have saved a lot of time, effort, and heartache if I had!

At the end of another one of my journals I found another list…this one is labeled “perfect” guy… (I’m assuming the * were the most important to me at the time)

*Trusting/honest
Active
Does Kind things
Goal in life
Someone that “hangs on” when having problems
*GIVES ME ORGASMS
Committed to relationship
Accepts me for me
*DOESN’T COMPLAIN
Likes Pets
Respectful/Considerate

As I got older, my lists got smaller. Eventually, I narrowed it down to the THREE E’S

Educated
Employed
Erotic

I read some of my journal entries to MJ, and when I got to these parts, he asked me to compare my list to our relationship. There are some definite things he needs to work on, but he comes pretty close to matching everything in all my lists!

How would you describe your “perfect” wife/woman or husband/guy?????

I just got finished reading [blog 4it921] about his upcoming role in "City of Embers"...That is so cool!!!

Yesterday I found out that actress/director Connie Stevens will be filming a movie in Boonville, Missouri next month. It's called "Saving Grace" and it's set in Boonville in 1951. Supposedly it's going to include 6 Missouri actors and Robin Wright-Penn, John Corbett, Piper Laurie, and Scott Wilson.

The film is about a family in a small mid-western town who faces tragedy and loss in the 1950s. It's seen through the eyes of a visiting young girl. Supposedly, the film is based on some actual events that took place during the flood of 1951.

This is not the first time a movie has been filmed in Boonville..."'s Play 3" and "Combat Academy" were also filmed at Kemper Military Academy which is right down the street from where I work!

They are supposed to announcing the need for extras in the next couple of weeks...hmmmm, something to think about???!!!

BTW: The picture is of Connie Stevens many years ago when she was on the "Match Game" Remember that show???

MJ and I had some fun today with the camera. I'm using one of them in this post, and then tonight I'm going to put more in an album in the friend's network. What do you think?

On weekend mornings, MJ and I like to snuggle up in bed for a while...Usually it gets pretty hot and we end up making love...This morning was no exception...Neither of us like wearing clothes unless we absolutely have to...Today was no exception...Right now we're both sitting at our computers butt-naked. It makes it a lot easier to access body parts that way... I just wish my feet weren't so cold!

Guess I better go...MJ is getting a little frisky...

What should I call Romeo?

Well here it is the fifth day of my new profile, and it seems some of you have been able to figure out who I am...which is good...I tried to leave a few hints here and there in certain people's posts, but I haven't gotten to everyone yet that was on my previous watch list.

It's funny that as soon as my new profile hit, it was like fish at feeding time. My email box exploded the first three days with I don't know how emails. I kept telling "Romeo" (hint) that it's because of the tits. Men seem to love tits???? Gee...ya think??? lol...

Speaking of Romeo, I'm not going to call him that anymore...I mean if you think about it, that story ended tragically. Even though we've had some ups and downs, I wouldn't call our relationship a tradegy... So... let's see, Prince Charming - PC - for short?? I don't think so, although it would fit in with my other blog (hint). Mr. M??? No, that's too much like a good friend of mine's reference to her boyfriend. What about his initials - MJ - that might work. What do you think?

Okay, by now, those of you that used to read my old blog should know who I am... For those of you that just started reading...hello...

My old blog was too sappy. I felt like I was too much of a "good girl". It's time for the "bad girl" to come out...I mean this is an adult website, right??????
