Tomorrow it will be two years. Two years since my heart was shattered into a million pieces. Two years since the man who could look into my eyes and see into the very depths of my soul refused to look me in the eyes ever again.
He had his reasons. They were good reasons..... for him. Still it hurt like nothing I've ever experienced before. It has taken a long time to come to grips with his reasons and for the pain to ease. It has taken a long time to allow myself to open up and take a chance once again. But it is time. Time to slowly dismantle the wall I have built around myself.
For those of you that have been reading my blog for a while, have you ever noticed that I never expose my feelings? Opinions, yes, feelings, no. This is the first step. It's time to start moving forward. Don't leave me messages of "oh, poor you!" That's not what this is about. This is about picking myself up off the ground, dusting myself off and putting myself back out there!
So consider yourself warned. Chick is back!

Still searching for the perfect vibe. It's got to be very buzzy and have multi speed control. So far I haven't found anything that works as well as my shower massage, but it's not always convenient to take a shower.
Got any suggestions?

It's rant time here in "ChickLand"!
Lately there seems to have been a rash of impostors and fakes. And it's not just on FriendFinder-x and it's not just me..... my girlfriends have been noticing it too. Seems we have all had less then positive on-line dating experiences in the last two weeks. We were discussing it over Anti-Oxidant Martini's the other night and I decided share some of the highlights:

And to that extend I occurred to me that my profile photo is almost a year old and I've put on at least 5 lbs since I took that picture.  (trying hard to loose it though) So I thought I'd practice what I preach and take a new photo. I thought it would be interesting to pose in the same bathing suit and in the same body position. I thought it might motivate me to loose those 5 lbs. So the picture with this post was taken yesterday afternoon. The picture on the previous post was taken last July.
Now I'm thinking I need to loose 10 lbs.

I have to say, quite honestly, that I love getting erotic text messages! Photos are kind of nice too! 
In other news.... I've worn out my vibrator.
(surprise, surprise) The silver coating is starting to flake off and the wire is loose so the darn thing slows down or sometimes shuts off at will. And not always at the most opportune time!!!! Anyway... I went to buy a replacement today (because, apparently, the other 20+ vibes in my drawer aren't good enough. And quite honestly, is there really such a thing as too many vibrators??? I think not!!! )
So there I am looking for a plain old bullet with a multi-speed control. And I come across this SOLAR POWERED bullet. I you not! Okay..... Now honestly, can you see me leaving my vibe out on the back deck to get some sun and get charged up????  Get real! I use in in my bed, at night, under the covers. Then there was the bullet that plugs into your MP3 player and vibrates to the beat. HELLO????? Are these people smoking dope? So obviously NOT designed by a woman!
And then there are all the cute little animal shaped vibes... teddy bears and dolphins and butterflies. PLEASE STOP!!! The only animal I want touching my clit is a human male!!!!!
I think I need to go into the vibrator business. Anyone got a manufacturing plant for sale?

My sex drive has returned full force.
And I feel like a total perv!!!!
When I first joined FriendFinder-x, the dick pictures kind of bothered me. I thought, "Come on guys, your more than just your dick." After a while I kind of became numb to them. Then I started to find them rather fascinating. They are all SOOOO different.

I couldn't stand being a standard member any longer. I got my little silver ball back tonight. A sure sign that my mojo is returning and I'm feeling more like my frisky self.
So..... an update:
I bought a new car. I absolutely love it. I spent way too much money on it, but it seemed better than watching my money loose it's value in the market.
The roof is still leaking but the roofer has told me not to pay him until he finds and fixes the leak.
I got a quote on the painting and it's not going to be too bad. Of course I can't schedule it until they find and fix the leak.
I've got the floor scheduled to be repaired and I'm psyched because the floor really needed to be redone, and now I don't have to pay for it, the insurance company is!
And best of all, I've started to feel horny again. I'm begining to think more about sex than I have in weeks. And I had the most intense orgasm in the shower this morning. Hmmm, I think I might need another shower before bed.

It's amazing to me how a little bit of stress can diminish your sex drive.
Worse.... how a lot of stress can rob you of almost all of your sex drive.
I've been experiencing, oh.... just a "wee" bit of stress lately. Nothing life threatening and all things that will get resolved in time but .....they certainly have been draining the mojo right out of me.
So, what's goin' on in Chick's life, you ask:
My car needed $1,000 worth of repairs. The darn thing was only worth $5,000 so..... time to buy a new car.
My roof leaked. Called the roofer, he fixed it, but wasn't positive he got all of it. He didn't. Had to call him again!
Need to call the painters to fix the ceiling and the wall where the rain leaked in.
My water cooler also leaked. Called Poland Springs and they were great. They are going to cover all the damage to my hardwood floors
Had to get two quotes for getting the floor fixed
Hurt my hand boxing. Had to have x-rays taken. Seems I chipped a little piece of bone off my pinkie knuckle. (Owwww! )
And my new job???? Well they haven't kept the promises they made me when they hired me. The good news is, they put the promises in writing. The bad news is.... now I have to go through the process of fighting for what they promised or look for a new job.
And.....My sex drive has dwindled down to a slow trickle.
So.....I'm not looking for sympathy, I'm just "unloading" and explaining why I haven't been around. I am still my normal happy, optimistic self. I'm in good health and so are those that I love. And that's what's really important in life.
I hope that you and your loved ones are well.
