I am feeling better everyday....I think surgery is more traumatic in the sub conscious or some such....I have been a bit out of it for a bit....house was a wreck....feeling spacey or something...hard to put my finger on it...anyway have a couple dates lined up this week...old flames...not from here...should be innteresting... the picture is me today

Surgical recovery day 5

Well my friend, Terri, that took care of me during the initial phase of my surgical recovery went home to California yesterday morning. I am often tired, likely from the medications and trauma of surgery. I am not in that much pain anymore, have minimal bruising on one breast. I love my breasts, they are really axactly as I imagined. The doctor did a fantastic job. I have a psychological sense of completeness....and it affords me a sense of seeing a bigger world somehow. It is difficult to express....there is not the smallest fragment of regret. I feel this new comfort and confidance - complete in my socio-erotic self.
I made my way to an often attended midday Sunday AA meeting in my first day totally solo...and realized the pain medication I am on is very strong....had not noticed home in bed, on the sofa etc.....funny on one level, caution on another.....fortunately the pills are not something i like in an addict sense....their balance will be flushed in a day or so....was allowed to start bathing today, back to Seattle the next two thursdays to get check ups....emerge into my new life as a full time female....

Well I did it, this new phase of my transsexual journey. The attached pic is not meant to eroticize me, or validate me. It is there so you can see something other than the sexy finished product. Under those tapes in my armpit are stiches...and that is the point the Dr. put things in from.... I just had my surgery yesterday morning.....sorta scarey....walking in to the operating room, doing this. My Dr. and his staff were great....and my friend that took me up,Terri, nursed me through....kept me iced down to prevent swelling. Really an amazing kinship between us 'girls' going through this stuff.....Was fairly out of it yesterday, aenesthesia and medication....felt alot better today than i expected...and the Dr. was pleased in my follow up this a.m....for those of you that do not know the skin stretches, and the implants sort of change in the next few months....and it does hurt....but i am so glad for doing this....look out world...
