I love the maker, Luli Fama... So. American designer that is based in Miami... surfing online found it for $36 !! It retailed for closer to $200... so off season, not needing it I kicked down. It is reversible, other print is very cute too. Yay, to bargains !!

Laying low Christmas, managing cold symptoms. Was out to nice restaurant Christmas eve with friends. up and down last night realizing I was feeling funky.. glad the hectic season is over at work. Took some chances this year...new job, new car...thankful for much and excited for a nicer, mellower 2019.

Sunday evening washing face... flashing y'all !! I have started a new position with my employer... made leap from labor to admin. No more crazy fluctuating ultra early morning start times... no more physically exhausting work. Steady Mon to Fri schedule. It is a huge improvement in my life quality... social availability etc.

I've worked hard, and found so much joy finding my place in the world. Navy vet, 18 of formal education, tax paying property owner, respected co worker, liked neighbor, cherished friend. As a political pawn my rights hang in the balance. I achieved my female identity in the Bush Administration ...vetted by medical and psychological interventions. anxious and uncertain of my future... with all the other political violence and lies. Color me sad and confused. Snaps of me today... going to grocer... about to wash my face and get some rest for work week.

Me last weekend...doing my best sexy lady on her suburban errand track.
I lead a modest life...Blue collar, I work full time... own my home out right. Have always driven cheap used cars... loved the latest 15 year old Mazda... last week the flashing engine light was on during my 2:30 a.m. commute - it was just too much. It dawned on me that in the last 6 years i had spent $7,000 on 3 misc. cheap used cars... get to work run my errands... but still limited in what I can do. So no rent or mortgage... I took the next day off and went and bought a clearance 2018 brand new car - There are still 'firsts' in my life- what do you know? I had liked this brand and model car for some time... so I just went and bought one. Felt crazy... but used to that.
It's very nice for me... excited to drive to ocean... visit friends out of town... that sort of thing. Dawns on me how I had become complacent with my girl safety... allowing myself to be vulnerable commuting at odd hours, could be very bad really quick for a trans girl, any girl. Even my love / hate relationship with my employer has changed. Rather than punching the clock for money and surviving... like, "Whoa, I come here and get to have this super nice thing". Pretty nice ... more grown up, fancy lady like...you know?
