Why can't I be a graceful woman? All floaty and feminine!
Ever since I broke my ankle 14 months ago, I can't seem to stay upright! I find every bit of uneven pavement, every loose bit of carpet, in fact anything you can trip on, slip on, bump into or slide on!
Latest incident .... slipping over on lino at work, due to water on surface. Result.... bruised right knee and left wrist.
My Father always said I'd never make a ballet dancer, but can't I at least walk around like a normal person???

I think I've had a bit of an epiphany today! Nothing earth shattering, but a moment of clarity and realisation.
I was answering an email from a chap who had written a very nicely crafted message. So much nicer than the normal "let's shag" emails.
It was during this that I realised what is missing if you pursue a never ending stream of mindless encounters on here. You scratch a temporary itch, but that is all. In some cases the purely physical act can be achieved with a rampant rabbit!
So, I now know that what is lacking is intimacy. Intimacy is outside of the purely physical act. It's those little things that two people share.
Whilst I doubt I will ever get married, as I would probably have done that by now and it's not really what I'm looking for anyway ..... I know I want intimacy.
You know when you are turning someone on and I have no doubts on that score. I know I can be a sexy woman. But intimacy can only be achieved through knowing someone and sharing something outside of the physical.
There you go .... I've committed it to print and feel much better for it!

In the course of my job I am called upon to do a wide variety of things, which I love, because it isn't boring. I have a very low boredom threshold anyway!
Sometimes things happen and I think to myself, does my job really include this?
Yesterday afternoon, after a very busy morning, I had got to the stage where I was just trying to wind down for the weekend, when there was a shriek from the next office. One of my colleagues had spotted a mouse running around the office.
Myself and another colleague then tried to trap it, which we managed to do under a waste bin! We have had traps down for a while now and the mouse must have eaten some of the poison, as it expired under the bin!
Why does an iddy biddy mouse freak some people out. I love all God's creatures (well maybe not snakes and wasps!), but I couldn't harm them. It looked so sad lying there, it was only tiny.
Before we caught it, another of my colleagues was running around threatening to "bash it head in"! I said "no way", it's only a mouse ffs!
I then started getting phone calls saying "it's Walt Disney here, I understand you have killed Mickey!" ... their idea of humour!
All in all, it was quite a surreal afternoon! :=S

It may be hoping too much and I know what this site is called, but are there any articulate men on this site?
The endless string of emails in text speak, with spelling mistakes and unoriginal offers leaves me cold.
I've been pondering revising my profile for a few days now, but want to get the tone and balance right.
Now I like sex as much as the next person and it would be possible to have a never ending string of mindless encounters on this site, but I know that's not what a want.
I'd be happy enough to find one compatable partner to see regularly, but get the impression that guys don't feel the same about this.
As I enter my 4th year on this site, I wonder what this year holds.....

Decluttering and feeling good at the same time.

The de-cluttering is in full swing, even if it's going slower than anticipated.
I have bags of clothes to dispose of. It's amazing how much stuff you build up without realising it. Pretty sinful too, as we all have more clothes than we can ever hope to wear!
But there is good news! Thanks to my wonderful friend Viva, I found a website called Freecycle. It has local groups all over the UK. You can advertise for things to be collected and literally recycled!
So, subject to them being collected, my bags of old clothes should disappear this afternoon. I can start all over again then!
The best part for me is that the lady coming to collect them is part of a church group that sends things to Africa. I hate waste and love to recycle and it makes me feel good that my stuff will be going to a good cause.
I do have weird pictures in my head though, of an African woman wandering around in one of my old t-shirts!

Having come back after a few days away, I'm feeling full of optimism for a new year.
Spending time with my best friend and her family has given me some perspective. They embrace me as one of their own and their love is unconditional. They even manage to overlook all of my faults!
I have always needed some sort of target to aim for, to motivate and inspire me. The start of a new year gives incentive ... so I hope it's 'out with the old and in with the new'.
My first task? To declutter my life! Maybe if I can get my physical surroundings less complicated, my mind will follow!
Then there's a sexy man to find .....
Here's to 2009!

I don't now why, but I just can't shake off a feeling of lethargy.
I have no motivation to do even the simplest of tasks.
I have very little interest in it being nearly Xmas.
I am going away to stay with friends over Xmas and I will be happy just to spend some time with them, regardless of it being Xmas.
Is it me? Is it the time of year? Am I missing someone to share it with? I just can't put my finger on it. I only know it's not me!
I hate to feel this way, like a moaning minnie, as I know I have alot to be grateful for compared to some people.
Roll on 2009.... maybe a new year can help me find the old me. I really hope so.

I have been fiddling around with the colours, trying to make things a little livlier! Now, my comments page appears to have turned red!
Now I'm sure I didn't ask it to that! I've tried to reset it, but it isn't working!
Now what do I do??

I have spent some time today rolling around laughing!
I found some great videos (on You Tube) for a group called The Wet Spots.
They are a Canadian man and wife act who sing very funny, but very rude songs!
I know this site won't let me post a website, so anyone reading this will have to "google" to find it.
I can't decide which was my favourite song, but I recommend:
1. Labia Limbo
2. Texas Annie
3. Public Service Announcement
Let me know if you agree!
I've also found out they will be appearing at a pub in Vauxhall (SE11) on Friday (19th). Anyone fancy a trip?

I've learnt a new word today!
"Frenemies"
Apparently this word describes so called friends who are actually jealous or envious of any good fortune that comes your way.
I thought it was quite clever!
