As the spacey fragment suggests above, I'm looking for a mute-switch for my own internal monologue. I want to listen to another's viewpoints, stories, and (ideally) spark some new shared history. I'm an aging hippie from Frisco, who has some late-autumn fire and desire for a bit of fun. I really don't know what to expect from this site, or whether anyone will respond to this inarticulate inquiry. If a woman wants to communicate with (safe) cybersex via webcam, erotic sight&sound,( I am willing to attempt mutual self-stimulation...although I am aware of my own stirrings of shame and self-ridicule. I love seeing a woman reaching gratification. It is almost as uplifting as the tactile participation- the real deal ...Or not. Hey, I'm tired of COVID isolation, so my intimacy confidence has dimmed this year. So have my social skills. I'm not a self-promoting salesman(obviously), so why would you venture to contact me?Damned if I know. Here's my history (without fanfare) . I grew up in San Francisco, was raised by my mother&grandma. Mom married a jazz-pianist in the Air Force, moved to Marin County, then to Sacramento for high school. They left for Panama, I stayed in the Valley through college. Graduated with a psych degree, got involved with various social causes(human rights, environmental conservation, feminism, gay advocacy, anti-war,etc.) Participated in the psychedelic era with other substances throughout the 60's & 70's, worked in Social Services & Counseling, while working as a singer/songwriter musician for 50 years or so. I haven't pursued monetary gains, was born poor, stayed in the lower strata of working-poor, and am now officially retired. I don't take myself too seriously, am a semi-spiritual atheist, an apolitical socialist, with a mixed bag of skepticism, idealistic optimism, and an appreciation for many disciplines of achievement. My favorite traits are open-mindedness, humor, and kindness/empathy. As you can tell my intro needs a collaborator/editor...

My Ideal Person Here is what I know about compatibility, lasting mutual attraction between intimate partners, relationships that enrich each individual, and promote growth and a bond that nourishes their lives. Absolutely nothing!.
But I believe it exists, this dynamic of shared experience, and sustainable support, with the energy to carry on. What I have realized in my experiences with 'relationship-wrecks' is that I have to accept reality in a partner, and not imbue my perception of them with misguided self-delusions of an IDEAL-MATE. None of us are programmed to meet anyone else's desires, nor should we want to be, unless your expectations are limited to short-term sexual role-playing. And let's face it, an enduring relationship requires endurance... which involves patience, tolerance, humor, curiosity, kindness, and selflessness. That's a lot of effort for a chance of future fulfillment, right?
Yet, as the end speeds towards us, the solitary life seems stark and desolate. A life worth living should be shared; open to new adventures, in the light and the darkness. What do you think? Better yet, would you show me how you feel?
