I just moved into an unfurnished Apartment in Clearlake across from the old fire house and I'm still working on getting furniture four it, so far I have a very comfortable Queen bed and a Dining Table with Chairs, so that provides a place to sleep and eat (actually I guess we could eat in either place)... ;-) I've lived in Lake County for about 40 years, my home (and much of my future planning), and all my belongings were destroyed in 2015 when the Valley Fire swept through Anderson Springs. I've been through the experience of living in a 5th Wheel RV for about 4 years, living in my truck (Black RAM 1500 Quad-Cab 4x4) for about a year, and in a homeless center for the last year before getting my Apartment through VA (military) assistance. I've been married once to a retired SF-CallGirl, divorced in 1990. I have no - no pets (but desire one of each), live alone... I'm 5' 8" and about 100 lbs overweight, need to get back down to at least around 200. Never had a problem with my weight (185# @ 38" waist) when I was married, but then we were screwing at least 3x every day, and very often 4-5x daily. Damn! Life was GOOD then ! I doubt I'll ever get back back to 4-5x a day, but I think I can handle a minimum of twice daily, and strive for thrice. I guess it's a good thing that the Mexican Restaurant across the street (next to the Animal Hospital) closed, or that would be my second home. lol Oh, and I don't have any pets, although they are allowed here in all eight apartments, I'm just not ready to have another dog. I lost my best friend of over 16 years about a year after the fire. Still miss him a lot! Yeah, I'm a softy emotional guy - and not afraid to admit it... I've even been known to tear up when trying to perform a Country Love Song. Just watched 'Clifford - The Big Red Dog' last night, and yup... Felt my heart in my throat several times... But cute movie ! I'm impressed by well done CGI, guess that's the 'techie' part of me. My fav genre is Space Sci-Fi/Fantasy, but if it's got a sweet part to the plot or a Love Story under the action (like the series Pandora), it's got just about everything I need...
