Welcome To My World...

Let's face it, we all have different things, subjects, rants, etc. You name it, it will come up at some point in our life's and depending on what it is, it will come up repeatedly as well. So as one might have guessed, here is where I will, pose the question(s), have fun with what is going on in the world (I try to find humor in most everything). Basically anything I have to say more than likely will probably be said here.

Yes, you read it right, I got on the scale today not really as any sort of official or document weigh in mind you. Just to get some idea of how the week is going for me. I noticed that I’m approaching the 190 pounds lost and closing in on the big 200. I do have a goal to reach before my Sunday Weigh In and it is a fairly realistic goal. If I reach it I will be ecstatic on that alone.

Went to pick up My ’s Report card, fortunately she is doing pretty good. Granted she is being a typical teenaged girl and being real ‘Social’ in class but my thinking is “Do what they did when we were in school. MOVE THE TO DIFFERENT AREAS OF THE ROOM.

I haven’t worked on any of the books that I’ve been writing over the past few months because I’ve been trying to clean up from a flood I had on Halloween and re-writing my resume and then modifing it a bit to fit for each field of work I’ve been trying for. I actually finished the ‘General’ resume late last night and quickly placed it on CareerBuilder & Monster to see if I can get any results. Well I must have did something right this time because I had calls coming in for interviews before I woke up. Turned on my computer and had sever legitimate e-mails waiting as well. Keep in mind when I say legitimate e-mails I’m not talking about those ‘Insurance Sales’ or ‘Work from home’ stuff. I mean stuff that actually sounded as if they were a real possibility of turning out to be something. And actually the ‘Insurance Sales’ and “Work from home’ messages became non-excitant.

Hello All;

I’m back on here again and since I’ve been on this site last I have lost over 175 pounds and several shirt sizes smaller. In April I had The Gastric Bypass Procedure done at one of the Chicago Area Hospitals.

I will admit that I have been in a very depressed state for the past few years due to the break-up of the woman I met on this site (Those of you who continued to follow my blog know exactly of who I speak of.) But now after having the surgery and been feeling better about myself I am slowly getting to the point where I’m almost ready to get back into the game sorta speak.

For anyone who would want to get in touch with me I have set the posting of responses only after my approval. So if you leave a private message here just say so in the response that it’s a private message or leave a way for me to contact you as well and I will not post your response.

Health Question & Answer Session

Q: I've heard that cardiovascular exercise can prolong life; is this true?

A: Your heart is only good for so many beats, and that's it... don't waste them on exercise. Everything wears out eventually speeding up your heart will not make you live longer; that's like saying you can extend the life of your car by driving faster. Want to live longer? Take a nap.

Q: Should I cut down on meat and eat more fruits and vegetables?

A: You must grasp logistical efficiencies. What does a cow eat? Hay and corn. And what are these? Vegetables. So a steak is nothing more than an efficient mechanism of delivering vegetables to your system. Need grain? Eat chicken. Beef is also a good source of field grass (green leafy vegetable). And a pork chop can give you 100% of your recommended daily allowance of vegetable products.

Q: Should I reduce my alcohol intake?

A: No, not at all. Wine is made from fruit. Brandy is distilled wine, that means they take the water out of the fruity bit so you get even more of the goodness that way. Beer is also made out of grain. Bottoms up!

Q: How can I calculate my body/fat ratio:

A: Well, if you have a body and you have fat, your ratio is one to one. If you have two bodies, your ratio is two to one, etc.

Q: What are some of the advantages of participating in a regular exercise program?

A: Can't think of one, sorry. My philosophy is: No Pain... Good!

Q: Are fried foods bad for you?

A: YOU'RE NOT LISTENING!!! Foods are fried these days in vegetable oil. In fact, they're permeated in it. How could getting more vegetables be bad for you?

Q: Will sit-ups help me prevent me from getting a little soft around the middle?

A: Definitely not! When you exercise a muscle, it gets bigger. You should only be doing sit-ups if want a bigger stomach.

Q: Is chocolate bad for me?

A: Are you crazy? HELLO Cocoa beans! Another vegetable!!! It's the best feel good food around!

Q: Is swimming good for your figure?

A: If swimming is good for your figure, explain whales to me.

Q: Is getting in-shape important for my lifestyle?

A: Hey! 'Round' is a shape!

Well, I hope this has cleared up any misconceptions you may have had about food and diets.

AND REMEMBER: "Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid sideways - Chardonnay in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO, What a ride!"

(A ROUND TABLE TALK) Is there a 'Gimme'

Ok, first off I feel the need for a disclaimer here so...

The blog entery you are about to read is true. Names (if used), Places (if used), Dates (if used), and situations have been changed and/or altered to protect the innocent... And maybe the guilty too...

Now I know I have been away for a while, but that was because I found someone who I was (and in many ways still am) quite fond of. We have been having quite a few problems as of late and we know how that is.

Ok, what I came here about... I know I usually do jokes (when I do post) but I thought I would bring something to the table to discuss. I was talking to a male co-worker of mine during the week who has been having some problems with his girlfriend. Ok all couples have a problem or two come along during a relationship, that's a given.. But when he started to open up about things he told me (using his words) "Man, things are going bad... She didn't even offer sex or anything on my birthday... My Birthday man... that's like a gimme" I looked at him as if he was goofy or something and asked since when was sex or anything was a gimme? He tried to argue the case that it is a gimme and how he took his girlfriend out to dinner, and sex on her birthday... But nothing on his, not even an offer of McDonald's or anything.

I started laughing at the guy and explained with my girlfriend on her birthday we went out, and yes we did things that couples do. But on mine we went out to eat, but nothing after that and I was perfectly fine with that. I was just happy to enjoy her company on my birthday.

My fellow co-worker said I was wrong and walked away yelling that my girlfriend owes me a gimme!

My question... is there such a thing as a gimme in such matters on your birthday and I've been messed up some how? or is he wacked?

A Mother's Love

A gay man, finally deciding he could no longer hide his
sexuality from his parents, went over to their house, and found his
mother in the kitchen cooking dinner. He sat down at the kitchen table,
let out a big sigh, and said, "Mum, I have something to tell you, I'm
gay." His mother made no reply or gave any response, and the guy was
about to repeat it to make sure she'd heard him, when she turned away
from the pot she was stirring and said calmly, "You're gay, doesn't that
mean you have oral sex with other men?"

The guy said nervously, "Uh, yeah, Mum, that's right."

His mother went back to stirring the pot, then suddenly whirled
around and WHACKED him over the head with her spoon and said, "Don't you EVER complain about the taste of my cooking again!"

The phone rings and the lady of the house answers, "Hello."

"Mrs. Sanders, please."

"Speaking.

"Mrs. Sanders, this is Doctor Jones at Saint Agnes Laboratory.

When your doctor sent your husband's biopsy to the lab yesterday, a biopsy from another Mr. Sanders arrived as well, and we are now uncertain which one is your husband's. Frankly the results are either bad or terrible."

"What do you mean?" Mrs. Sanders asks nervously.

"Well, one of the specimens tested positive for Alzheimers and the other one tested positive for AIDS. We can't tell which is your husband's."

"That's dreadful! Can't you do the test again?" questioned Mrs. Sanders.

"Normally we can, but Medicare will only pay for these expensive tests one time."

"Well, what am I supposed to do now?

"The people at Medicare recommend that you drop your husband off somewhere in the middle of town. If he finds his way home, don't sleep with him."

I was walking past the mental hospital the other day, and all the patients were shouting,

“13.... 13.... 13...”

The fence was too high to see over, but I saw a little gap in the planks, so I looked through

to see what was going on...

Some bastard poked me in the eye with a stick!

Then they all started shouting “14.... 14.... 14...”
