Well it been awhile since I posted anything here, and well say it been a great summer as getting use to living the big city life. No regrets at all it been exciting as it been rewarding, some of what even a few locals would take for granted we have met with the eyes of discovery.
For on the small side to see lightening bugs for the first time, may have been a good thing it was just us, could have been look upon as being bit crazy seeing a man act like that over a bug!! Wonder if that what you may call a burning desire????
Almost a full year here and we hardly have scratched the surface as to what we see and do. Not really use to riding in the big city , or should say the act of keeping the painted pony upright and not having some body texting crossing over the line and ruining our day. Not so cool texting and driving, way to much of a distraction in my book getting smeared into the freeway over that would be a really bummer. .
We did get to take in our first NASCAR in person. The funniest part of the whole thing was how a friend of ours was telling us “that the noise makes the hair on the back of your neck stand on end when they come roaring by”. Do I dare tell him that as we sat just down from the start finish line and a restart double file cars screaming almost right at us doing 170 mph, I happen to look over and Snatch is taking a power nap!! Yep right there in the mitts of 100 thousand fans wearing more patched up coats, shirts, some even wearing racing strips on their mirrored sunglasses. Hell I bet even some of the ladies had thongs on sporting their favorite driver car #. Nope not my Snatch, she caught a few ZZZzzz right there, and I quickly woke her up, didn’t want to stir up the troops you know .LOL
Oh well just a few lines to say we are still alive and kicking. Hopefully we can get out more, seek a few new friends and enjoy the good life. May even get to write a bit of my twisted stories now and then again as the fall is going to steal our sun for a bit and by all means I haven’t even said a word of our day at the water park, yep Snatch did make my day there as well as being told once again by the , Who is the parent here anyway.

A Month of Sundays

Well it sure feels like a month of Sundays since I wrote on our blog. And I suppose if I had some out of body experiences to share with you at this time, we be cooking with oil. NOT!! Then again, I could share some of Snatch’s wet dreams, but we know how they turn out, Dandy gets hung and we’re not talking about size. Beside I don’t go there any more, it like adding more fiber to the diet. More filling and shitty results!!!
So anyway what have we been doing all this time since? Well found out Kansas is flat, for those that worry we may be blown away, not happening at all. Rock, that what lays inches under ground I found out when we were building a fence. Now for new found wisdom and a bit of history lesson to share with you. Dandy done figured out why all the old westerns had a pile of rocks on their graves you can’t dig a hole to no where .So now when we pass by a fence line and all the rocks are piled up around the post you know why. (Side note: nope talking Snatch into running the Jack hammer did not replace the huff and puff club at all.)
We have one neighbor she battling with cancer and that taking a awful toll on her , so after all her treatment is over with. and hopefully she will be able to keep up, till then Dandy been getting a few extra hours of sun mowing her yard as well as ours but working on his tan is a good thing. Hope she gets well soon, there sure is lot of leaves in them trees and her trees are big!!!!!
We been watching a bit of baseball, yep and guess we really didn’t have to brush up on the who’s and the where as they been sucking the big one (More like the Royal flush!!!) But being I haven’t taken in such a big game in person what the heck, a few beers and you can change teams. Right!! Snatch already did that, second time she watched them she said, “ Well that hat you bought sure not going to be worth much, maybe you could trade it in for a Minn Twins one, That right the Royals hat was on close out sorry!!!!!
Strike three for Dandy.

Too Small !!!!!!

TOO SMALL !!!! What the heck is this whole darn world coming to anyway? We done been living in this here place where we like all our shit BIG!!!!!! Right ?? Every darn fast food place goes off on super size it, Got Dr.s and places you can go in and go from an A cup to a DD . Guess getting a nose job may require going a bit smaller, but over all darn it we want it big. Even some wanting more down stairs or for that matter up stairs yep we have been consuming with all of that.
But this has gotten me all up and going Have you notice that now days there no darn such thing as a half gallon container of ice cream . Take a gander the next time you’re shopping. They did some darn pretty slick repackaging there, looks the same but nope it 4/5 of a half gallon it read. Where did that measurement come from? Just smidgen of a smaller size to look the same but it not!!!!!!!!!
On to the latest quest of ours and since I been mowing grass night and day we thought buying a croquet set to pass some time. What the heck happen there?!!!!! They all have small balls now!! Now I done mowed the yard to keep the wiener from dragging his but, dropping the mower lower to use our new set, well just say we just as well be pouring concrete!!
Now if they are going to out source all our work, for sake a lives, someone send them a blueprint of how tall we are. The handles on the mullets barely cleared the knee caps. Now if Dandy had ever wanted to have some length to something, this would be a darn good place to start.
Oh well at least I’m not playing with blue balls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So what kind of lawn games you like or play?????????
Not my ranting just looking for the back support , and we may be back to playing butt darts before this is all over, or may try out 4 fifths of something they haven’t downsized and use a pool cue to crawl around the course!!!! Have a great Day Dandy & Snatch

The Ladies of River Rock (part 9 )

Tom figured that first of all he would go into some of the truths and then he would fill in the misconception of his past. Well not so much his past but how his family tree seem more like the roses that grew wild from the banks of the river. Sometimes their beautiful and other times only the bare and thorny branches that rip at the flesh if you were to walk that path. Sam could tell Tom seem uneasy about what he had to say, yet here and now she had held out for so long and if it was to be she knew she had to hear what he had to say.
At first Tom seem to avoid looking into Sam eyes as he was afraid that in some weird and strange way she may judge him. Taking a very deep breath as he glance up and down the river from the porch bench he began his confession if that what you want to call it.
“ Sam , it is true my grandma was the Madam of this here Mission, and my mother was” that about where Tom stop for a second as he didn’t know if this was creating to much of a shock to her yet Sam squeezed his hand she was holding, maybe even a bit tighter now as she could hear fear raising in his voice as he spoke. “Well it is true this was a mission in the beginning. It seem when they built it , the first ones here was a preacher and his family moves in and the order of business was to introduce the natives to the way of the christen world. Guess at first it was going well, but some where between the teaching and the times one of his daughters took a shining to one of the young braves and that caused a lot of trouble.
Tom felt Sam hand he was holding let go as she spoke up,” Ok Stop Tom, you don’t need to go that far back, I’m sure I could go down to the liberty and read about that, to which I have already”. Tom looked over to Sam reading what he could from her expression; he smiled as he knew this wasn’t what she wanted to hear. Tom then takes a deep breath as he starts off again. This time moving up to where his Grand parents had bought the place in the early 1900’s. It seems that most of the west was being burned to the ground in the year of 1910 and as they had cross the ferry downriver on their way to the west, they had seen the Mission from there.
Further exploring the surrounding area, they bought the mission for almost nothing as the natives had viewed it as a place of evil and it stood empty. Their dreams of the west was no more, it was here they found their piece of paradise so they thought. Times were good, Grandpa found the fishing good, the ground grew most of what they needed and times were good. They even hung a sign for the passing folks to stay over on their way west, so they started their family.
Well a few years went by and as times got hard in the late twenty and thirty. My Grandpa trying to make end meets, he started making shine in the basement of the mission. He was selling it to some people in the big city, and some where along the way the fed caught on to his making and he ended up drowning in the river as he was making a trip down river to meet them. Grandpa may have been more careful if he had knew grandma was pregnant the time, but I guess grandma didn’t say anything at the time as time were hard as it was.
From there a couple months go by and then one morning as she was down on the river she found a woman there. It seems this woman was part of a gang that had been up north. She had taken to the river when they encounter the feds from the ferry, and she jumped into the river and washed up here at grandma place. Well Grandma hid her out in the cellar where grandpa had his making and when the feds figured she had drowned in the river. This was the very beginning of a close relationship for them. , but with no income and either of them willing to make shine , Grandma took to the liking of this women and being pregnant with momma , Now here the two of them had to figure out how to survive in this place.
Grandma was a much stubbed woman and Margie knew how men worked and if they were to make it here, this was just the right place to do it. Now Grandma losing a husband, an income and remembering Grandpa Words as what ever happens, the river will provide and now it was up to her if she wanted all this. Well Margie was also dealing with losing her boyfriend, and knowing she had no place to go. So these two sit down and worked out how they were going to make it. A few months passed by and momma was born, and by then Margie had called on a couple of other women to join her in the upstairs, even going so far as to make it known to business men from the city, there was a place to go, not only for the fishing but for the pleasure that Margie and friends could provide them. A prefect hideout from others it was.
Tom stopped talking for minute and looking at Sam he didn’t really feel if what he was talking about was being truthful enough for her at the time. Tom stands up and says, “Ok Sam come with me and I have to show you something”. Sam follow Tom as they walk back into the Mission and passing through the door on the far side , entering a very narrow and dark hallway they made their way to the back room. Tom removed one of the planks in the floor and reaching down grasp the end of a chain and pulled hard up on it. Sam heard the clicking of something in the wall, next to the wooden trim on part of the wall a door opened up for them. Sam gasped out loud, “wholly cow how did you know that was there?” Tom smiled as he said, “My mother showed it to me a long time ago”.
Tom stood there for a minute not knowing if this was the right thing to do or not and he finally says, “ Sam, you have to promise me something right here and now, what you will see or read down here is to stay just between the two of us, ok?” Curiously was getting the best of Sam, and maybe sitting there hearing what Tom had already said just seem so far out there that maybe it was all true and seeing something like this and Tom reaction to it she just knew she had to go down there. Whatever it was, this is something she need Ed to do if she had any hope in catching and holding on to him.
Sam finally saying, “I promise Tom, damn it you quite worrying about me will you, after all we been the best of friends and if you haven’t done figured it out by now I love you, YOU Stupid idiot”. That some what surprised Tom, hearing Sam just going off and blurting it out like that, but still he had to say what he did as she was soon to find out more then she ever thought of.
Tom found a the switch on the inner wall, a naked light bulb began to glow lighting the way to the lower level, Tom taking Sam hand says, “ Here watch your step and step to the very sides as I haven’t replaced the wood down here and some may be rotten”. This time it was Sam hands that seem sweaty as she felt what Tom was about to show her must have been something so important to him, he was trying to take every precaution he could. Sam had no idea that this afternoon would drag on so long, and yet she felt this could be the beginning of something for the two of them.
So as Tom seem to be opening up to Sam about his past, down river a bit Henry seem just bit high from his good fortune that his Sam had given him and when times are that good, the first person he wanted to share the news with was Marylyn. Beside the setting sun casting a warm glow didn’t hold a candle to what his heart was a feeling. He knew Amy was still up river, Sam was down river and it just seem to good of an evening to let it all slip away from him, beside just that morning that woman had a really good hold on him and getting back to all that just seem like the right thing to do.
Of coarse stopping off at the drug store he remembered as he purchased a few more condoms to place in the drawer. Henry did have an awful hard time not laughing about Sam telling him about Amy’s fishing Bobber, but hopefully she did have other uses for them. Well Henry guess that may have been his fault as he kind of the result of the whole thing, guess when it came to the birds and bees his one on one talk had turn to fishing and that another story.
Being next door to the café, Henry pickup some dinner for him and Marylyn, and one more stop he made to pickup a bottle of wine for the two them to celebrate their good fortune. He hurried on home before Marylyn had time to start dinner as she usually did about this time. Burning out of town and heading on home, Henry began thinking of a little ride in the old wooden boat, spending a little time under the full moon tonight with his sweet thing maybe just the ticket.
Marylyn seem a bit confused as she sees Henry pull in to the driveway as plume of dust rose from the gravel road. Almost speechless as she didn’t know if it was something bad or good it was just strange as he wasn’t due home that early in the afternoon. But before she could read a whole lot into that, but seeing him grinning from ear to ear, the dust hadn’t even cleared when he grabs her off the ground and kissed her. “ Wow what in tare nation gotten into you, Henry put me down will you “ Marylyn exclaimed. “ be sides your early and I haven’t gotten dinner on yet”
Henry wasted no time in pulling out the papers Sam had given him about the netting, and as Marylyn read them Henry reached in pulling out their dinner and the bottle of wine he purchased. Henry beaming like he been given a whole new look on life he says, “Hey, you interested in a moon light trip on the river Honey; I bought us dinner and your favorite wine”. Marylyn beginning to giggle as she knew what that meant. “Wow, talk about Sam making you a happy man, speaking of the girls, where are they anyway?”
Henry had one of them smiles that was you couldn’t wash off. “Well it seems Amy up river fishing with the boys, and Sam down river with Tom I gather”. Marylyn folds up the paper work and reaches into the bags in Henry arms pulling out the box of condoms she looks at Henry for an answer to these. Henry start to laugh and says, “Well it seem your youngest has found a new use for them, Guess blowing them up and using them for bobber’s these days. Hahahahahahah”. Marylyn begins laughing with Henry as she says, “That figures, after all I remember your talk with her on the birds and bees, damn good thing I straighten that mess out”.
Henry very much in the mood to get going grabs the bags and start off toward the house talking over his shoulder, “ Give me a minute to wash off this dirt and grease from the shop and we’ll get going ok”. Marylyn still shaking her head as she followed Henry to the house , even she now had a smile as wide as the river was long, as it seem there was many a good reasons to be. After all when Henry and her got away to spend a bit of one on one on the river it always was grand.
Marylyn placed all their food and wine in a basket while Henry could be heard from the shower singing. Well that not entirely true more like an old record skipping over and over and very bad but he was a happy man. Marylyn found some fresh choughs for him to put on and almost wanting to strip off and join him may of cross her mind as she got an eye full as he stepped out of the shower. Henry looked damn good. She made a hasty exit from their bedroom, at the time being that close could change the whole chain of events for the evening.
sure slow on writng here but as the sun get brighter it just so hard to stay indoor you know. guess I could be a holding out a bit as to what Sam about to find out, or maybe cashed out before Henry and marylyn boating adventure. You think the younger one up river have recovered yet. Oh well I will write more and it will be a sort of heat wave that about to take over soon. Hae a great Weekend Dandy & Snatch

The Ladies of Rriver Rock (part 8 )

Amy waded out far enough to wash the sweat and lust from her body. She found it refreshing to have the cool water to bath in, as seem the mid day sun was quite warm. Maybe finding a little bit of satisfaction in taking on her two best friends all at once cured the three of them in some ways. Amy kind of thinking that weighs in on most people. . The never ending question of does a friend ever stays as a friend if you make a lover out of them. She knew she had more then enough to please the two of them besides looking over her shoulder they sure seem to look like it anyway.
The boys had finally sat up and watched Amy as she was washing up, Darren was first to say to Teddy , “ think Amy will ever go for just one guy or something?” Teddy looking at Amy’s bare form in the river replied, “ Right Now, I wouldn’t know for sure, she is worth a whole lot more then one person may ever live up to, beside if it means I would lose a friend in the long run, I just like it as it is now”. Darren looked over at Teddy and just like him they both were on the same page. Yep, the thought of losing a friend to love, a very hard line, and mostly a very confusing thing to deal with.
Off in the distance hearing another boat coming up river, the two boys jumped up and ran into the river as Amy barely had time to jump to the side from being taken with them Amy knew her shorts were up on the blanket and ran up the shore line to fetch them, one thing she didn’t want was someone to come bother the three of them and being nude, she knew if she could at least cover up before the boat arrived all would be good. Beside Amy knew the boys would need some things to wear, the river was still to cold to stay in there to long. Amy hustled to slip on her shorts and the t-shirt stopping long enough to grab the boy’s cloths she made it down to the boat throwing their cloth in there for them as she watched this shinny new boat slow down at first and then slowly making it way over into the cove. It seems the person in the boat was checking out the nets Amy and the boys had placed earlier. The boys found that good as they made it over to grab their stuff and just as the boat seem to turn toward the three of them, all three finished getting dressed.
Amy stood there watching the boat and as the person stood up from the driver seat of the boat. The boys barely made it to where Amy was standing as they heard Amy say, “Shit, how in hell did she figure that out so damn fast anyway”. Darren and Teddy waded around to the far side of their own boat to make room as Amy waded out toward the one that seem to be coming to shore, like cutting them off at the pass seem the right thing at the time.
Yep it was Sam standing there grinning and almost trying not to laugh as she knew who it was, and seeing that one condom riding the wake of her boat was all to funny. Sam even thinking how many times she had showed up in the mist of these three, oh well this wasn’t the first time that was for sure and gathering the evidence here or there not much had change either. Sam did call out, “Hey you two dressed yet,” as she smiled to the boys as Amy waded out catching the bow of the boat. Sam slip off her sunglasses as she waited on Amy to start pleading some darn off the wall excuses of the day. “So sis, you sure look a lot different all dressed up that way, is that a real badge and handcuffs you got there”. Sam smiled as she looks over at the boys first and then back at Amy she laughs as she says, “ well thanks, and sis no you can’t be borrowing the handcuffs, I would hate to have to return up here to undo the boys from the tree up there on the bank”.
Sam couldn’t help but laugh just a little as this was nothing new to her at all, these three grew up together and shit there was a time of catching the three of them hidden in the old boat house glued to the pages of daddy dirty books, there also times of finding them skinny dipping along the river . Pretty much not to big of a surprise at what these three have ever gotten into over the years, and Sam being no saint herself, maybe even a bit jealousy that she wish she could have been more or less like Amy in some ways. Then again she had her mind on just one man, and by all means she was going to find out that for sure.
Darren and Teddy watched as Amy seems to be waiting on big sis to put her foot down, yet keeping their distance. Sam looked over to the boys asking them, “So do I need to come a shore to check you guys for license today or you two ok?” Darren quickly spoke up as he looked around for his wallet. “I got it Sam, just have to find my damn wallet “. Sam watched him throw this and that around the boat and then seeing him start toward shore and not knowing weather he had anything on or not, she called out, “Darren, I believe you do, just checking on everyone on the river today, since that my job now. So you guys were having any luck.” Darren and Teddy both blushing as they found them looking into the sun trying to sound very convincing to Sam. “Nope it is kind of slow so far today thinking it will get better come sun down”.
Sam then turns her attention to Amy as she lowers her voice to keep the boys from hearing her. “I guess there no need in asking who the nets belong to, it seem like the very same ones Daddy and I use to put out”. Amy kind of looked down for a minute, not really knowing where sis was going with this. Then Sam knowing full well what was going on she just smiled at Amy and whispered, “ Well, I better get on down to the marina and have talk with dad, and Amy make sure you check the nets before you call it a night will you” Amy now seem a bit confused as the nets were not legal to be out there. Amy started to ask,” But wait a minute, I didn’t say they were ours, and I’m not going to take the heat for that”. Sam looking more stern she moved closer to Amy where there would be no mistake on what she had to say, “Sis, I grew up here, I know what we all been doing for the pass years, if it wasn’t for the darn nets, I would of never had it to go to school in the first place and seeing you will need them to for your future. Just cool it will yaw”. Amy sure felt a whole heap of worries quickly fading as she now knew Sam wasn’t here to cause any trouble for her. Sam did look over to the floating condom then back to Amy, she giggled as she asked, “I’ll say that bobber of your is something”.
Sam then stood up looking over to the boys and saying, “ Well I need to be going, you two keep sis here safe and catch you three later “ Amy then push Sam back out into the river and watched her fire up boat and head on down around the bend out of sight.
Sam was feeling great to be back, and knowing most of her days would be on the river. She wondered how she would be liked or disliked from being in charge of it. How others would treat her, would they be easy to get along with or not. But here were a couple of things to take care of, and not all it had anything to do with fishing. Guess Sam mind was more on one person thoughts as to if he was in line of being caught.
Sam found her way down to the Marina where her papa worked and pulled up to the dock. Even sporting a shinny badge and all, the female form of her body didn’t slow a couple of fishermen from helping her tie it up. Thanking them for their help and just asking they how their day was going it seem to be ok for the most part. Sam’s smile could melt the mind, and she made a very insight full first impression. Well for most people that was, except for her papa as he was standing in the doorway of a boat house where he spent most of his days.
Henry done figured Sam being here she must of found their nets and guess the time of racking was about to take place. Henry already thinking that this day was a coming and no use holding out, times were a changing and getting arrested by his own, well he had been struggling with it for sometime. Sam waved up to him as she walked up the dock to where he was then asking him,” Hey daddy, I think my boat is missing a little bit, can you check it out for me?” Henry giving her a strange look as he had done worked it over last week, and he knew there shouldn’t be any problem with it. Henry then seeing Sam grin and felt her reach her hand out to him and again she says, “ Come on dad , you seem a little distance to me , hope these new clothes aren’t making you all uneasy are they. Henry almost felt foolish as he said, “Oh gosh no Sam, they fit you very well, and you still look as pretty as the first days I ever layer eyes on you, let go see what the problem is”
Part way down the dock, out of range for the others to hear them Sam lean over to whisper to her papa, “ There nothing wrong with the boat, we just need to talk is all”. Henry then knew Sam had other thoughts on her mind and maybe this was it. Sam caught on fast and she followed Henry over to the boat. Sam reached in picking up a clipboard and handed it to Henry. Henry almost to afraid to read what Sam had given him, at first looked to her pleading his case until Sam said, “ Read it daddy first, don’t go giving me that look, you didn’t raise no fool you know”.
Henry spent a minute or two going over the paper work. Finally looking up at Sam grinning he asked, “Is this for real, you giving me a permit for our nets. “. Sam may have been more excited then Henry was at the time, but Henry also had been worried the others may not take Sam so serious with her new job, giving her no respect. Henry folded up the paper work and looking at Sam he asked, “ Wow this is really so unexpected, but can we keep this under wraps for a few days, I don’t want others to think you are pulling some kind of strings for me you know. Sam then laughed as she ask, “ so what did you think I was going to do Dad, come here and throw you in handcuffs and haul you away, no freckle way, you only been doing it to providing a better start for us. Beside now this here permit, you may even get to make a bit for you and momma now, think Amy will never leave here anyway so it good for her too. Henry then looking at Sam he asked, “Speaking of Amy, have you seen her today?”
Sam then grinning she replies, “yep sure did, Darren, Teddy and Amy are up river, they got the nets set up in the cove off the point where you and I use to put them.” Henry then looking at Sam he says, “And is there anything more I should know, being I know them boys?” Sam thought for a moment then grinning she says, “Well it seem you may want to buy her a couple of bobbers for fishing, the condoms look kind of strange floating in the river, hahahahhh”. Henry laughed out loud as he took in a vision of that and then joking he says, “No, you didn’t have to say that, my goodness what am I going to do with that wild ”. Sam patting her daddy on his back, she asked, “Well since we are on the subject of Boys and girls, think you can tell me where Tom is these days”.
Now Henry knew what Tom was a doing, but he also felt it wasn’t going to be him to say too much about that, well not any more then he had to anyway. “I heard he is down river fixing up the old Mission, guess someone bought it and hired him to restore it. ”. Henry watched Sam eyes twinkling just a little bit, for he knew Sam had a lot of feeling for Tom, and now she had returned he figured it wouldn’t be long till the two of them got together again. It wasn’t that Henry didn’t know something was in the wind, he could very well remember how hard he works to prove himself to Sam’s mother. Henry always did like Tom, he was a good boy, well not a boy no more, and a good hard working man that Sam would soon find out for herself and it wasn’t going to be Henry pointing or pushing in any direction to make it so.
Henry quickly change the subject as he stuff the paper work in his pocket. He says, “Looks like the boys up at the shop are just a itching to find out how big of a fine you given me, guess it my day to start a little bit of fun. Hahahah”. . Sam looked up there and no lying, the boys were all watching them and knowing her papa , she knew he would feed them a line that would last awhile’. Sam then saying, “what are you saying, you going to tell them I wrote you up?’ Henry then grinned and said, “Yep that way they will be thinking damn that girl is one tuff cookie, and you won’t have to worry about them giving you any trouble atoll”. Sam laughed and replied, “Daddy I’m not worried about that, hey I can unbutton these two here buttons and write them a ticket every day and they wouldn’t complain one bit”.
Henry reached over stopping Sam from undoing a button he says, “Hold on a darn minute there, you and Amy are getting to be too much like your momma for sure, and I don’t need to hear this from you too, hell I have to be going, since I have to stop off at the drug store anyway. Hahahahha” Sam laughed at her papa remarks as she waited for him to undo the lines to the dock. Sam calls out, “Daddy I may be late getting home, think it going to be a long day on the river you know”. Henry waved and made a motion of knowing that, beside really there weren’t a whole lot of clock watchers on this here part of the river.
Henry no more then made it up to the shop when someone had to speck out about the paper hanging out of his pocket. “Don’t go telling me she done wrote up her very own papa for something”. Henry just smiled and replied as he stroll on by the one gathering by the door” Yep, that she did, something I would of never have thought of”. Henry now could of share a bit more info with them but he thought this may just be enough between the lines kind of deal to keep them from causing Sam much of a problem in the future, and besides when it did come out, they would know how Sam really was. Henry done knew a woman taking charge of the river and the fishermen around here may find her with a few hating the fact of being told anything by a woman.
Sam’s journey took her on down river toward the old Mission that sat up on the bluff of the river. Sam was very happy to find Tom was down on the river working on the dock that over the years had pretty much seen its better days. Sam could see that Tom had already replaced much of the old stairs leading up to the top, more then a hindered steps, adding a couple of landing as it made zig zag pattern up the steep incline. There was Patches of wild roses on both sides and a few other flowers and bushes that by now were pretty much were on their own. As Sam slowed down not leaving a wake at all she began to drift in toward the dock as she could not help but admire the man with out his shirt busy pounding nails into the dock replacing some of the rotten timbers.
Tom must have been so busy making notice, it was hard to as how long Sam sat there admiring the sight before her, the boy she knew in school had really gain some weight and in all the right places, His hair slightly beached out from the sun and his bronze colored skin tone shining as his muscles flexed The passing rays of the sun made the hair on his arms and chest glow as if he labored away at pounding the nails into the planks. Sam almost striking the dock before her gain backs her thoughts, she cleared her throat as she said, “He you, Bet you could use a cool drink of water “as she reached into her cooler and threw a bottle of water to him... Tom in turn almost step right off the edge of the dock as he didn’t know Sam had drifted in on him and barely had time to catch the water bottle. Sam laughed as she said, “Great catch, and sorry I thought you had seen me coming in”.
Tom was very surprise to see Sam again, well here of all places as he hadn’t really plan on having her here yet anyway. Opening the bottle of water , and taking a drink he seem to be eyeing Sam outfit as it seem having her wearing a badge and dress as a conversation officer, well in the past it usually math they showed up to check on you or write you up for something. Tom didn’t say much at first, more of waiting on Sam to say something first and he thought if he just filled in the blanks here or there much of his doing here may go unanswered for now anyway. Finally laughing as Tom goes “Well, I’ll say you are getting really good at sneaking around already, you will be keeping everyone around here honest “. Sam blushed a bit at first then saying,” Well you were making a lot of notice, didn’t mean to at all”.
Tom would of loved to just grab Sam up in his arms ,but he was still dealing with some of the lying and faking his love for her over the past couple of years. Tom wasn’t very proud of that , but he knew of Henry and Marylyn wishes for Sam and he felt if he had been honest with his feeling for her she wouldn’t of went to school and worked so hard to be where she is today.. As unfair as it seem to be , Tom had a lot more to say and yet he wasn’t so sure breaking her heart some time ago was going to be easy for him to gain back her trust. Avoiding true feeling at such a time seems so right. Just as watching a pair of fish hawks pushing their young from the nest down on the point, it had to be done. The only reward was seeing that their young did return the following spring, guess that was Tom way of trying to piece it all together and right now Sam had returned. Had Tom finished their nest, well not yet as nesting always took the work of each one to make it so.
Sam already knew why Tom had said what he said and granted , each time she had time off to spend a bit of time on the river, Tom had never seem to haven’t taken up with anyone , so she kind of knew he was holding out for her. Just maybe? And now it was finding the right words and the right place to renew something the two of them gave up some years back. Sam had an idea Tom was going to be coming around, just this morning and even now she caught the eye contact from him , much like a reeling in his first big fish, sparkling eyes, a grin that was a mile wide and body language screaming out to be had.. Sam could feel it, much like part of her studies , as complexes as we are as humans , in the animal world that we are still part of it is a natural desire to mate with the best suitor and Sam thinking well he was right here and now. Sam reach in to the cooler fetching up two more bottles of water and toss one to Tom as he stoud there frozen in time and he already had finished his own bottle it seem he was still speechless. For all the reason he had been busting butt, here and now she stoud before him only a few feet away. “Darn it sure getting hot today, sure hope we are not getting one of them thunder storms this evening.” Sam trying to avoid the unanswered question the two of them was thinking. About. Tom taking another cool drink of water seems to ease the lump in his throat then sitting it down he says, “Thanks Sam, I was just about out, the rest of mine is up at the mission. Sam looked up to the top of the hill taking in the white pillars that accented the front porch, it seem the boarded up windows had been replaced and the place once very run down and buried by the climbing vines over the years . One of the last places that she had never been to, well not since Tom and her had stopped off there to do a bit of fishing back a few years ago , and then they never went up there to check it out, Tom had told her it was haunted and going there only could cause problems for them..
Tom watched as Sam surveyed the Mission, yet he still had a few things he wanted to get done before showing it all to her. .on top of that he had a whole lot of talking to explain why he was doing it, how he had accrued it in the first place. Something he didn’t know what she may say, or would this deepest and darkest secret that had lain dormant for all these years or would it be just a passing of the spring floods and wash the past away. Either way he knew what he had to say, and just maybe the sooner more then the later would be the case. Sam finally feeling tom was holding out she began to question him a bit more.
“So Tom, did you tell the man that bought this place it was all haunted and the whole story of the Mission?” Tom smiled as he could surly tell her the truth in his way at least, “Yep I sure have, it seems the man that owns it knew the whole story and all of it past,” Sam giggled as she pressed on, “Well I heard it use to be a cat house and not some old Mission people around here tried to claim, so you going to show it to me?” Before Sam had a chance to tie off her boat to climb onto the dock, Tom quickly crutch down holding Sam boat and blocking her way to get onto the dock. Sam study Tom reaction as she wondered why he was keeping her from getting out of her boat, like he was trying to hide something from her. “Well maybe later Sam, there a few loose steps and I still got some work up there to finish, how about tomorrow?’ Sam was about to press on when the marine radio went off in the boat, “How about it Samantha, you copy?” Came over the radio. Sam turned back to pick up the mic and she answered it, “Yep you got me Warren, what up “. Then hearing Warren saying, “Well Sam I’m closing up the office here, you just run the boat up river to your place for the night and I’ll see you here in the morning ok?’ Sam smiled as now she had the whole afternoon off, and beside she had to see this place that Tom was keeping from her. “Ok Warren you have a fine evening and see you later”. Sam came back with before she reached on over and turn it off.
Tom now had hope Sam would be call on to go somewhere and yet it just seem that wasn’t the case now as Sam turned and smiling she says, “ Well it seem I’m off work, you going to take me up there or not?” Tom still holding the boat and thinking of an excuse to keep Sam from going up the hill he finally says, “Hey help me place this old bell back on it stand and maybe I’ll meet you up at the marina and we have us a cold one”. Now Sam figuring getting her chance to see the mission was out, but hey , he was asking her out, even if it was for a beer “. That in itself was a far cry from how he been acting, and guess there was always tomorrow to see the Mission anyway.
It took the two of them to pick up the heavy brass bell and place it in the new cradle at the bottom of the stair way. Once placed Sam asked, “I don’t remember this bell being here before?” Tom smiled as he finished fastening it down and he says, “ Well at one time there was one, heard that it was like a door bell, when people showed up here the y would ring the bell to tell the ones up there someone was a calling on them”. Sam giggled as she couldn’t resist it, “You mean that gave them time for all the women to get all ready for the men right?” Tom just grinned at first then realizing that once again Sam was pushing him closer to talking about it all, and yet darn it, something had better be said before to long. Tom finally saying, “yep that t what I heard anyway, though it was a nice way of greeting them”. Sam feeling like she break new ground she goes , “ Ok now your talking, you do know what this use to be then, I just knew it”.
Tom eyes flashed at Sam as he was tiring to pickup on her thoughts of the whole matter for what he had yet to say he really hadn’t plan on confront the whole thing on Sam first day back home. Tom once again changing the conversation back to Sam, “Hey so how your first day, and anyone was give you any trouble?” Sam grins as she start laughing, “ Well Amy’s seems to be using a condom for her fishing Bobber , but I think Darren , teddy and her had more then just fishing on theirs mind you know?” That cause Tom to grin and it wasn’t that he felt like, shit at their age thing are so damn simple, none of this shit you’re trying to work out, you just went for it. Sam grins as she finally sees Tom has no intentions of showing her anymore of the Mission she finally says, “Well how much more do you have to do here?” Tom find a piece of rope to tie off the bell to keep it from ringing he says, “ Well I have to go put a couple of thing away, how about I meet you at the Marina and you tell me all about your day. Ok?”
Sam finally decides she would go along with tom idea as she walks back over to her boat and climbs in as Tom unties it as Sam back away from the dock watching tom as he waves good bye. Sam turned back up river and just as she almost out of site Tom takes to the stair way climbing up the bluff to the Mission. Sam may have made it to the marina. But for just some darn reason the knowing and not knowing was just to damn much for her as she turned the boat back toward the Mission. She had done made up her mind if there was going to be him in her life and all, nothing like right now to make it clear to him from here on out. With out as to even dwell on that thought no more, she waited until she seen Tom had disappeared on the horizon. Sam decided that maybe her out fit seem way to warm and now she was off duty anyway and as much as she admired her new clothes right now she wanted to return to her own being that meant just her t-shirt, and throwing stuff this way and another she found the old pair of cutoffs she had thrown in case she had to get into the water at some point of her day.. Guess it was just feeling like her old self shedding of the fixtures of her job , kind of like shedding one skin and tuning back into the woman that long to have that man on the hill sweep her off her feet, and darn it he taking his damn sweet time about it. Once dressed or undress one mite say Sam slowly slip back up to the dock as she tied it off and even stuck out her hand as she passed the bell making sure it stayed quiet. , this time she was going to climb these damn stairs she was planning on stating her case and no, Tom wasn’t going to be a side stepping on her this time no way !
Only stopping up catch her breath as she topped the stairs she seen how the once peeled paint had been redone, it view from the bluff took in most of the river, miles in either direction stretch out before her and stepping onto the rather large porch, the smooth texture of the pillars reaching all the way to the roof line made it seem like a palace. Sam decided to tiptoe over as she see the front door parity open, guess no need to knock if the door is open right. Slowly she grasp the brightly shining brass handle of the door and open it just enough to slip in, slowly peering in to see where Tom mite be, the coast was clear and she stepped onto the rich and dark hardwood floor, she swore looking down her reflection stared back at her. From the far side of the room a huge stone fire place seem molded into the wall, a door leading out of the room to one side and stairway on the one side leading to the second floor. In all she felt it was so nice, Tom must have worked for hours or days to refinish all of this .The richness of the hard wood made even the finest china cabinet a mirror small example of what this looked like. A very large glass chandler of crystal catching the afternoon sun shining from the bay window made sun light reflect off the walls in designs of triangles and diamonds forms. Sam leaving the door slightly more open then it was the slight breeze made it glimmer all that more.
Sam slowly walked toward the fire place she sees there a portrait above the mantle, a very large and with in the frame of this painting it seem to show one woman sitting and a few others standing by the chair as they all seem dress in a very precarious fashion.. Moving closer to the painting she began to study it, for one thin Sam had learn from school as to observe it all yet look for the small details with in to grasp the truth. Sam eyes roamed the canvas, yes one lady dress to the nine, three or four women on one side and more to the other side of her., but it was the one sitting that seem to be jumping out at her, there seem to be a bit with woman eyes, or was it her other features that seem to be calling out as Sam was putting something together in her mind yet, this discovery was being met in mix emotions for now.
Tom had been in the other room off from the main one, but he felt that someone had enter the house, and slowly he made his way back to the front room but stop short as he spied the intruder, but wait she wasn’t wearing her uniform, she was staring up at the painting he had placed there himself some weeks back. Not knowing yet if he should make his present known or for that matter why had she return right now anyway, he felt his heart beginning to pound, all to soon what he had been working over in his mind for months may be now or never. Would she accept it or hold it against him. Damn she was so damn pretty he even had dreams of holding her, dancing the night away on these floors , shit he knew that but wanting and having so many times had been like holding sand in your hand the harder you squeezed it, the more that escapes out the bottom, could he hold out much longer.
Finally he cleared his throat to let Sam know he was there as he step from his hidden view he says, “what going on Sam, I told you would catch up with you at the Marina”. Sam didn’t answer Tom, she would look at the painting and then back over to Tom and back again. Tom watched persuading it really much harder as she seem to be connecting all the dots, well not all of them but he knew she had part of it coming on and each passing minute seem like hours to him , yet no words.
Sam looked closer at the painting as it seem the very same eyes that she love having stare at herbiest now were very much the same as the set of eyes that were painted . But one set was of the man standing only a few feet away. Sam first thoughts of reaching the top of the stairs now seem so far way yet trying to piece the puzzle together was even harder for her. For all the years she had known Tom, why now why now was she finding all this out, how all this could be, someone you grow up with is not the person you think you knew, for what reason had he held all this back.
Sam finally says, “Tom would you like to tell me about this here painting, it seems you have a lot of the same features you know”. Tom smiled as he sees Sam didn’t seem cross just confused a bit and now he had to come clean and hoping for the best he stepped over to Sam side as he slowly spoke, “ You mite say momma always did say I had Grandma eyes , and I guess you can also figure isn’t no church either”. Sam was hunting for the right words yet trying to say them was whole lot harder. She didn’t quite understand Tom being her best friend like forever and even more so she wanting him, and yet how could you grow up and not know of this.
Tom let his words die off as he thought if he only had told her all of this before, right now would have been much easer for him. But years of being told to keep all this hidden was the way in witch he grew up, always told if it came out , other would not be so kind to him, The times they told him he would be shunned from others for his momma was a and his Grandma made it so. That at the time seems like an awful uphill battle for him. But that was in the past and now Tom had enough of it and knew the only way to make it right was to first put it out here to Sam, because that was the only way. Sam earlier thought of wanting to throw her arms around Tom pleading her love for him seem to be put on the back burner for now she was trying to find out why he had kept this from her.
Tom seem to feel Sam uneasiness for the moment and second questing her next question he adds, “ You don’t’ know how many times I wanted to tell you about this, and I had to promise my mother not to, she felt it better I didn’t”. Sam seeing Tom’s expression a mixture of pain, sorrow and there could even been a bit of anger with in him to. Sam could tell from his responses that he seems to be pleading for his freedom of guilt for something he had no control over. There had to be more to it then all this, how come when as when someone made jokes of this place. Tom always made light of it as he had no part in this life here, how it must of drove him crazy at times, in reference of talk at a bar when others talked of how some had visited the Mission, wow even the thought of keeping his mother out of harms way at times, it must have been very hard for him.
Tom finally asked Sam, “Come on Sam tell me what you are thinking, I’m feeling like a man clinging to a branch in the spring run off here, I need to know how you feel about all this”. Maybe it was Sam smile or maybe it was Sam reaching out her hand to Tom and saying, “Come on Tom I remember seeing the bench on the front porch, maybe we sat there a spell and we should talk right”. Tom felt the warmth of Sam’s hand as Tom held on for dear life. Sam felt Tom’s seem so sweaty and his grip was so strong yet she wanted answers and now was just about as good as any here and now... Not that she didn’t know it would change it to the worse; she had to find out what he had in mind for all this.
Been trying to get this posted and granted there are a few errors but that life.
We got these two a talking and Amy done wore her boys out already well it not dark yet.
And what about Henry ,it seems after Sam talk with him, he got a shinning of his own to rush home to share his happiness.
Oh well, forgot to say anything about that player piano in the mission, you think it still works, awfull nice floor to waste Oh well thank you for the time know it a big post, but to fill the mind, to place you where you havn't been it takes bit of writing hope you like it Dandy & Snatch

Hooray, Hooray it the eight of May, It‘s outdoor intercourse day. !!
Now, this is our holiday for sure, and has been for a very very long time. Yep even remember when we were ready to move here last year the oldest that lived here was telling his mother that we should start having our own family traditions,

No, I haven’t forgotten the next part, just been on the go for a few days is all. One moment chasing a that chasing a squirrel is making dandy awful pissy, now I know why they call them bitches! The only one not jumping the frecken fences is Dandy. Guess an improvement is need there.
Of course the other one our not so famous over weight wiener and that is another story. Amy suddenly feels the boat turn hard to the right causing the bow to dip into the water enough to send a shower of cold water over the side. The sudden impact of it brought the three of them out of their thoughts as all of what this day may turn into before this day is over. Darren jumping up and yelling out at the passing boat” HEY F**K HEAD, WATCH WHERE YOUR GOING WILL YOU” Amy just laughed as she sat there watching Darren standing there, like some Viking warlord stating his case. Guess it would have meant something if they would of heard him. Teddy finally yelling at Darren ““sit down dude your going to flip the frecken boat will you”
Amy just leaned back into the nets as she watched the two of them going at it. The passing boat wasn’t even the point of their argument. The boys were pretty much done looking for a float, and were trying to get their own lines into the water, and figured Amy would just let her drift out along the bottom. She almost died laughing as the boys sat there mouths wide open, staring at the small pkg Amy had in her hand. “What haven’t either of you two had any of these darn things”? The funny thing about being on the river , voices carry some distance, and if it not over heard it pass along just like the water it flows down river, soon it not so much of a secret as one may think. Amy heard them whispering about it but it was like old news and even she knew it would be only a matter of time all three of them would be moving on, and this could have been the reason for her wanting to do what she wanted to do, kind of like to leave a impression that for all the years of friendships and time right here there should be the best of memories for all of them to take with them. Trying to rid her of what the future held for them. She slowly slipped her hands into her pockets and felt she had indeed brought more then enough to have regardless if part of their use was totally different then she had planned.
A break in the silence finally as it almost brought the whole group down, Darren and Teddy finally stood up and threw their lines into the water, but not with out both of them trying to get in close to where Amy had thrown her bait out. All he knew was Amy had laid out instructions for him to bring a jar of shine, a big blanket and she also made talk of having a fire going come night fall , so with that in mind he looked around and started putting together some wood for a fire. . Well as their lines were set and all that remain was waiting for the river to give up some of it holding. All I know for sure is the weekend here and Snatch and I are off to dinner. drink a bit of rum, and I supose the jagger will be cold enough on our return.

Sam quickly fetches a fresh pair of jeans from the clothes line and a dry shirt to slip on and made it back to the front porch. Amy was sitting on the bottom step petting Duke the dog. “What wrong old boy, momma aim getting better these days” Amy half laughing and giggling as she continue to reassure the old he may be safe. Sam join in with the laugher as it wasn’t that the two of them had both spent a bit of time on the porch locked out cause Marylyn and Henry had it going on.
Both of them looked up hearing the front door opening, standing in her robe and trying to look as normal as Marylyn could possibly be. Sam was first to say to Amy, “Look like Daddy put a little shine on momma face this morning”. Then the two girls started to laugh harder then before. Marylyn tries her best excuse, “Guess I had better get your daddy to fix this damn lock, don’t know why it does that”. Amy standing up and rubs Duke head as she says to Sam, “ I remember she use to tell us , it was locked because Duke here always pushed it open all the time, So momma you didn’t throw your slippers out the window this morning again did you?”
Marylyn was finding herself a drift on the whole darn thing, these two girls weren’t biting at all, best to just step to the side and let them walk on by. Sam and Amy left Marylyn on the front porch with Duke. Hearing Sam say as she stepped on by, “ You should feed Duke a bit extra , he looking skinny from out running your slippers “. No renounce from Marylyn this time the only sound was the door closing on them. Maybe Marylyn knowing she was out numbered in her defense , just better to sit out there on the front porch and take in some of that bright sunshine gracing the morning.
Sam poured herself a cup of coffee and was just ready to pour one for Amy as well when Henry came down the stairway. “Well daddy, I see your up and going, hope your not going to be late for work”. Amy reaches over picking up some left over bacon from the plate hands it off to her daddy.” Here you may want to give this to Duke, he is kind of shy after momma hit him with her slipper this morning,” Henry looked at Amy for a second then says, “oh ok, so I’ll catch the two of you girls later then?’ Sam smiling takes a sip and replies, “I’m sure I will, have to stop by and have you check out my new clothes.
Finally Henry had the upper hand so he thought, “New ones? you mean not the ones you got from Tom this morning?” This time it was Sam that put herself on the line and before Sam could give him an excuse Amy had walked wit Henry to the door. Leaning in real close and whispered in his ear, “I done moved the nets from the lower point, I’ll take them up river this after noon ok” Henry didn’t reply as he didn’t want to cause any trouble for any of them. It just seem that with Sam return and her position now , maybe a time has come to change a bit of their ways., like maybe the little extra bait fishing they had been doing needed an ending.
Henry hurried to close the door and as he went to kiss Marylyn bye, he whispered to her, “don’t you go saying anything to Sam about the Mission or the science nets, Amy moving them up river and I don’t want to be the first person Sam has to arrest anyway”. Marylyn smiled and pinch Henry on the butt as he threw the pieces of bacon to Duke, “there you go boy, sorry Mary here is so loud, see you later” then as Henry took off for work, and Marylyn rounds the house first picking up the slipper she had tossed at Duke, not leaving out Sam wet and muddy clothes she had ditched outside as well. Marylyn was feeling just so darn good, a bit of loving from her man, Sam done returned home, still got that way of doing her thing, and my goodness Amy had done grown up so fast. Sam finally looks and sees she has to hurry up and get ready for her day as well. “Darn it I’m going to be late too,” Sam calls out as she disappears from the kitchen as Marylyn comes thought the door. Amy was sitting in one of the chairs she looks at her momma and says, “ Daren and teddy will here in a couple of hours, we were going up river today, they told me there some mighty fine cat fishing off the sand bar”. Marylyn looked at Amy for a second and was wanting to say something but then just saying it” Well you know whets in the second dower in the bathroom, and I’ll say no more”. Amy gets up and look over at first going to say something, then figured there wasn’t anything to be said as what was in the second drawer pretty much covered it.
About that time Marylyn and Amy both caught sight of Sam as she return to the kitchen all dressed up. Guess it was kind of strange seeing Sam sporting a badge and uniform that in the past years from prior years may have concern them. Which one was getting pinch for something? Amy first to say, “my goodness, it looks like we got a fox watching the hen house, don’t we?” Sam laughed and replied, “guess so, did you move the nets for Daddy? “ Amy’s face quickly blushing she started to say before Sam cut her off, “ Don’t go panicking sis, I have a lot bigger fish to fry then picking on Daddy and you,hahahaha, but I do like you two moving them up river” Well it was almost as if the ice was broken somewhat as they felt better that Sam wasn’t going to arrest them, but they were still dealing with Sam new job.
Sam running late as Henry had been was out the door in a flash. Marylyn looks over at Amy saying, “You and daddy don’t go making trouble for sis you hear”. Amy jumps up, and heading for the stairs calls out, “We’re not going to, and I have to hurry up they are going to be here shortly, I have to get ready”. Amy barely hearing her momma saying, “Get ready, did not know you had to get all pretty up to go fishing?” Then again she remembering her youth and not to say she hadn’t done the very same thing. But hey it ok, two boys and one girl guess it not something to worry about. Right?
Amy being the third one to the shower, well there just so much hot water and Marylyn turning on the water in the kitchen may have deducted from what too. Maybe Marylyn thought a cold shower was the ticket for Amy anyway. Hearing Amy scream about the coldness caused Marylyn to laugh, nothing like revenge for the morning. Marylyn cleaned up the morning dishes and throwing Sam and Tom clothes in the washer, well just say it was all in a days work, beside she had no mind of taking a cold shower, she kind of like the left over feeling Henry done left her. Another cup of coffee was all that was needed for now.
Amy finally got dried off, hurried and finding her clothes she hurried as she heard the distance sound of a boat rounding the bend in the river. One last look in the mirror and opening the drawer she grabs what Marylyn had talk about earlier. That made an evil grin appeared as she found it so darn funny when it had came to that talk which Her Daddy or momma either one just ended it by saying. “Well it not like we are going to say not to, just make use of the stuff in that drawer and so be it “ Then Amy found it funny as to wonder, you think they keep count of them? Marylyn seem kind of concerned for a second when she first saw Amy return down stairs. Amy’s grin widen as she walked down to the dock, stopping short at the boat shed she opened the door and gathered the nets she had stuff in there that morning. Amy smiled as the boys seem to be staring at her, or should say they tried to checking her out when they thought she wasn’t looking at them. Wearing a pair of short cut offs with a worn spot here or there was like looking thought glass at an ice cream counter. Just so much and so darn tasty not to say Amy didn’t enjoy it too.
But with getting the nets back into the water and to keep the two boys’ from falling off the dock or something she opened up one the bait box she pulled out from the shed. That sudden smell sent both boys’s covering their noses with their shirt tails as they started to gag. “My god Amy, that smells like road kill, we want to catch the fish not poison the darn things” Amy grinned as she put the lid back on the bait box, “I guess that means I don’t have to share it with you two then do I “The only thing was at the time Amy had her own thoughts going and these two boys hadn’t a clue to what she was a thinking.
Finally getting it all loaded and Amy steps in and sitting backward facing the boys and they pushed off from the dock and headed up river. Amy leaned back and watched the boys, her mind continuing to ponder on what this trip may bring about. True there are days when fishing is in the fore front of the mind, but not this day, no not at all.
Ok, so here we go Dandy got Amy heading up the river with two boys, Henry done gotten his pipes cleaned, Marylyn just filled with joy. Duke is about to forgive Marylyn for moaning. Hell fire we got us some Drama going on here.
So just how wicked should Dandy be with Amy?
Maybe head down river , see what Tom is up to or Sam for that matter ?????
Think the big is still on the porch????

Just thankful we are

Sometimes we ponder on what we pass on, other times we just go about our day. A true friend e-mail us the other day wishing us a very Happy Easter weekend. , thank you for that so much, she truly been an angel to us. Granted she half way around the world from us, but that no problem these days as we find there are others from all four corners of this little planet that finds these here words. Truly amazing when you think that what you may say or write about may touch you in way you never thought of.
Now I surly could say how many countries there are. I could go on and say at times writing one of my little stories, we get an e-mail from some far off land that we know we’ll never go to. Yet hearing them says” thank you, for letting us feel a little bit of what kind of life you live with. Example “the Golden Locket” we received an e-mail from a couple that live on the banks of the Nile River, yet surrounded by sand he enjoyed the part of describing the evening breeze I wrote of blowing through the trees. The serenity of newly fallen snow, and yet when it got to the sexy part of the story we became closer in thoughts when desire burst from with in. Yes, we are truly thankful.
So an ending to this post and hope this may shed a bit of light on us and you as well.
It seems one Easter Sunday, A time each year mothers went the extra miles to send their to church in their new Sunday best, for some reason she must stay behind and gave the oldest the money for the collection plate.
Once the preacher and the church filled up, the services started they started passing along the collection plate each person donating and adding to it. Now it seem the oldest was keeping an eye on the plate as it was passed from one person to the next, and yet his one hand in his pocket only held a dollar bill.
It was when they passed the plate to him; he pulled the dollar out and kind of looking to the left then the right to see if someone was looking. Then grins as he did see what he needed to do At first the person to the right of him gasp as she watch him at first reaching and pickup some change from the plate, as matter of fact most everyone watch him taking the quarters , but he place the dollar in there his mother had given him.
What happen next caught most of them by surprise. Handing one quarter to his sister the next one to his brother. Left with two quarters, he placed one in the plate and handed one to the person to the right of him the last one. A person he didn’t even know. Very much in wonder why he would do that, and as the plate came down the line all four quarters were placed in the offering.
So I end this as I will say "here is a quarter from us that do care." To each one Havea Very nice Holiday and Now i guess i should return you to therest of the story. Have great day Dandy & Snatch

Sister hood

It seems that down at one of the local parishes, the day of confessions was taking place, three of the sisters were waiting in line to confess their sins for the week.
So the first one step into the booth and sat down and spoke “ please bless me father for my sins this week” and the voice says, “ Ok, now my dear please do” So the sister took a deep breath and says, “ Well the other day as I was out helping the gardener trim the hedges he unzipped his pants and expose himself to me” Sister hearing a slight gasps , and then hearing the voice “ please go on” Another gasps from her then sister Mary goes, “ Well, he then said that he felt very strange and ask if I could feel his pain and maybe if I just rubbed it a bit it may go away” Sister Mary sat in silence then finally hearing him speak, “ Say ten hail Mary’s and please wash your hands in the wholly water from the basin . “Thank you father” sister Mary said and step out.
Next it was Sister Teresa turn and she wasted no time at all stepping in and closing the door. “ bless me father for I have sinned” once again she hears, “ My dear what is it” A long pause and then she starts, “ Well I was out sweeping the walk way between the fountain and the rose garden , the gardener appeared about the time I was reaching as far as I could to pickup the leaves that had fell into the water..” then stopping a bit before hearing the father speak, “ go on my ” so anyway I notice that his thing came in contact with my bottom and knowing my womb was given to the lord, he placed his thing in my bottom” a very long pause again before hearing him speak, “ Please say fifteen hail Mary’s and you must wash your bottom in the wholly water placed in the basin out side. “ thank you father” replied sister Teresa and she to exited the booth.
Finally the last sister enters the booth and just before she gets ready to talk there is laugher coming from out side. “Excuse me sister, I must see what is going on out side” says the father. Stepping out side he see the other two sisters standing by the basin of wholly water and he asked “what are you two finding so funny may I asked.”
Sister Mary finally catching her breath says, “Well it is kind of funny if you think, that Sister Ann has to gurgle in this after Teresa washes her bottom.
Well the weekend is upon us and Dandy has some yard work!!! Not really . but each of you have a great Weekend Dandy & Snatch
